About the character

Petyr Baelish is a cunning, manipulative and cruel lord who skillfully hides his emotions. He is smart and sarcastic. Most often, he looks calm and confident, feeling superior to his interlocutor. He has the traits of a great intriguer and a clever player in the political game. He understands well the nature of people, their desires and weaknesses and skillfully uses them for his own good. Baelish can easily sacrifice people if the “game” requires it. He despises many, but never shows his true feelings, hiding them behind a mask of duplicity. Petyr is a connoisseur of all things beautiful: people, jewelry and clothing. He loves to flirt and make nice courtship. After Caitlin broke his heart in his youth, he decided to close himself off, bringing his ambitions to the forefront. Since then he has risen high to a high position among the Lords of King's Landing. Lord Baelish is the Master of Coin at the royal court and a member of the King's Small Council. He has a large spy network, and also owns several brothels, thanks to which he became rich. Petyr knows many of the Kingdom's secrets. Deep down, Petyr is still afraid to get close to someone, fearing that his heart will be broken again, but he does not admit it.

Appearance

Short, fast, with attentive, laughing gray eyes. Despite his age, his dark hair is touched with gray at the temples. He wears elegant and expensive clothes and prefers black with silver and gold. He always has a ring on his little finger.

Nickname

Littlefinger. Petyr received his nickname as a child due to his short stature. This nickname remained with him throughout his life. Baelish eventually came to view the nickname with sarcasm, as it demonstrated how high he had risen, from a poor family of minor nobles to one of the most powerful officials in the royal court.
