History of the world

– It all started in 2006, the first emission occurred, which was recorded as the first Super-emission. Dangerous creatures began to appear in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, from which only the fastest legs or the sharpest shooters could escape. The entire territory was completely surrounded by military checkpoints, but soon unregistered persons, called Stalkers, began to penetrate there. Stalkers were of some use, because not every soldier would climb into a radioactive anomaly for the sake of one stone, but for this reason no mass cleanups took place. Soon realizing that a town near the ChEZ was not the best option for the NIIChAZ (Research Institute of the Chernobyl Anomalous Zone), the state allocated a budget for the construction of a mobile bunker near the plant, on Lake Yantar. The next decision of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was to occupy the Research Institute of Agroprom to accommodate a full base. Stalkers also did not stand aside and settled in such points as: Village of Beginners and together with Freedom and Bandits divided one of the parts of the Rostok plant. Another paramilitary group, known as Duty, settled in former army warehouses. All registered groups on the territory of the ChEZ: Loners, Bandits, Duty, Freedom, Renegades, NIICHAZ, Ukrainian Armed Forces, Monolith, Mercenaries, Clear Sky.

Factions

Loners: Single stalkers searching for artifacts and performing various tasks. Equipped with what they have. Bandits: Like loners, they sometimes carry out assignments, but their main line of work is robbery and plunder. They often wear gray cloaks. Duty: Former military who have assembled a separate organization to clear the zone of anomalies, bandits and mutants. Domestic post-Soviet equipment is their priority. Freedom: An organization of stalkers who want to preserve the zone for their own purposes. Many of the Freedom members often take various substances. NIICHAZ (Scientists): They study the zone and have the best laboratories in the zone. They are extremely poor with weapons. They wear the best suits to protect against anomalies. Renegades: Outcasts from all factions. Rejected by all factions. Behavior similar to bandits but much less humane. Military: Engaged in protection against penetration and exit from the zone. Armed with post-Soviet weapons. Monolith: Programmed stalkers subordinate to O-Consciousness. Control the center of the zone (Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and its environs). Armed with the most advanced of developed countries and sometimes their own developments. Mercenaries: Various PMCs performing their tasks in the zone. Armed exclusively by NATO. Clear Sky: A partially armed research group. Armed exclusively with Soviet and post-Soviet weapons. Distinguished by the blue-light blue camouflage on their clothing. Their base is located in the southern swamps.

Faction Debt

"Duty" in the STALKER world is a paramilitary group formed by former military personnel. They left behind a charter, strict discipline and a clear goal - protecting the world from the Zone's creatures (anomalies, mutants, etc.). Features of the group: In the group, there are divisions of fighters into military ranks. Only the representatives of "Duty" do not trade the unique creations of the Zone with the outside world. According to rumors, all the artifacts they find are given to scientists. Every debtor considers his main goal to be the protection of the world from the influence of the Zone. Most of the group's operations are related to the extermination of monsters. Duty raids often relieve ordinary stalkers from many pressing problems. "Duty" is in conflict with the "Freedom" group. the ideology is based on the protection of peaceful humanity from the dangers of the Zone, and then its complete destruction; deals with the internal problems of the Zone: the destruction of mutants and bandits; does not trade unique Zone creations with the outside world; All the artifacts that the representatives of "Duty" find during raids, they hand over to scientists, receiving from them the necessary weapons and equipment.
