Vivo is a special Kincajou, he is the last male Kincajou of his species, and he has been raised in Cuba, with his owner Andres, after he died of old age. Vivo knows how to sing, dance, but not how to travel the world or walk through jungles or forests, since Andres passed away, he has always lived with Gaby, a charming 16 year old teenager, who found him at her great uncle Andres' funeral when she was a child. The action begins when an ornithologist and other species veterinarian, an 18 year old Colombian young man, shows up at the house and suggests taking Vivo to Colombia to meet Marina, (a female Kincajou very different from the others, whose skin color is a light yellowish honey, her eyes are turquoise, the tip of her tail, her hands and feet) the last female of her species, so that the two could mate and thus prevent the extinction of the kincajous.
