Prologue

Since time immemorial, ancient forces have shaped the destiny of humanity. Among them are relics of incalculable power, enchanted jewels that grant extraordinary abilities to those worthy of bearing them. These are the Miraculous, artifacts created by the great master Fu to protect the balance of the world. For centuries, secret guardians have carried these amulets, channeling the power of mystical creatures known as kwamis—beings born from the very essence of creation. With each bearer, history has been rewritten, recounting feats of bravery and sacrifice. But there have also been those who have sought to corrupt their power, unleashing chaos and despair. Now, in the heart of Paris, a new era begins. Two teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, have been chosen as the latest bearers of the legacy. With the Ladybug and Cat Noir Miraculouses, they become Ladybug and Cat Noir, the protectors of the city. United by duty, but unaware of each other's true identities, they must face an enemy that threatens to plunge Paris into darkness: Hawk Moth, the mysterious villain who seeks to seize the Miraculouses to achieve absolute power. In a game of balance where luck and disaster intertwine, the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. The story of the Miraculous is just beginning.

Students from the College Françoise Dupont (A college for students aged 13-16): Marinette Dupain-Cheng / Ladybug: A blue-haired, creative and kind student who has a secret and that is that she is the heroine known as Ladybug, being a user of the Ladybug Miraculous. Adrien Agreste / Cat Noir: Model and kind boy with a playful spirit who has a big secret like Marinette and that is that Adrien is Cat Noir, bearer of the Cat miraculous. Alya Césaire: Marinette's best friend, a curious and nice journalist, being the only one who knows Marinette's secret identity. Nino Lahiffe: Adrien's loyal friend and amateur DJ. Chloé Bourgeois: Daughter of the mayor, selfish and arrogant, she often tries to flirt with any boy as she is desperate to get a boyfriend. Zoé Lee: Chloé's sister, kind and generous, she is just as pretty as her sister, however she usually dyes her hair. Kagami Tsurugi: Disciplined and determined Japanese fencer, she is somewhat grumpy although a good person. Luka Couffaine: Quiet and thoughtful yet kind musician, Juleka's brother. Juleka Couffaine: A shy goth student who is quite distant although kind. Mylène Haprèle: A somewhat plump and nervous girl. Alix Kubdel / Bunnyx: A rebellious and adventurous girl, who is the bearer of the Rabbit Miraculous. Sabrina Raincomprix: A nerdy and somewhat insecure girl. Lila Rossi: Chloe's friend and just as arrogant as her. Iván Bruel: A tall and robust boy who at first glance is intimidating although in reality he is a good person. Nathaniel Kurtzberg: A red-haired artist boy in love with Marinette. Rose Lavillant: A petite, enthusiastic and innocent blonde girl. Aurore Beauréal: A determined yet competitive student Teachers at the Françoise Dupont College: Armand d'Argencourt: Fencing Professor. Caline Bustier: Teacher to the students. Olga Mendeleiev: Chemistry teacher and director.

Villains

Hawk Moth / Gabriel Agreste: The main villain of the series and Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste is a man who, motivated by grief and the desire to get his wife back, becomes Hawk Moth. His goal is to obtain the Miraculous so he can use its power to resurrect his wife, Emilie Agreste. Mayura / Nathalie Sancoeur: Hawk Moth's ally, Nathalie Sancoeur, also known as Mayura, is his assistant and, in many cases, the one in charge of using stolen kwamis to create more powerful akumas. Although she is initially on Hawk Moth's side, her loyalties and decisions are ambiguous at times. Stormy Weather / Aurore Beauréal: Aurore is a young meteorologist who, after being Akumized by Hawk Moth, becomes Stormy Weather, a villain who has the power to control the weather. Her purpose is to take revenge on those who have rejected her. The Puppeteer / Anarka: A girl who, when Akumized, becomes the villain known as the Puppeteer. She has the ability to control other people like puppets and use them to achieve her goals, whether it be revenge or causing chaos. Reflection / Clara Nightingale Clara is a famous singer who, when Akumized, becomes Reflekta, a villain with the ability to reflect the emotions of others in a mirror and make people act according to those emotions. Queen Wasp / Sabrina Raincomprix: Chloé Bourgeois' friend Sabrina is Akumized and becomes Queen Wasp. With her powers of control and manipulation, she seeks revenge on those who have scorned her, especially Chloé, and also flaunts her powers. Volpina / Lila Rossi: Lila Rossi, Marinette's enemy, takes on the role of Volpina in one episode. She is a cunning villain who, when Akumized, gains the power of illusion, making her a dangerous opponent for Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Key Locations in Paris: Places of the Protagonists Collège Françoise Dupont – The school where Marinette, Adrien and their friends study. It is a place where many key interactions and akumatizations occur. Dupain-Cheng Bakery – Marinette’s home where she lives with her mother Sabine Cheng and her father Tom Dupain. A cozy place where the best desserts in Paris are created. Agreste Mansion – Residence of Adrien and his father, Gabriel. An elegant but cold place, with many secrets, including Hawk Moth's hideout. Couffaine's boat – Houseboat where Luka and Juleka live. Iconic Places in Paris Eiffel Tower – One of the most recurring settings in the series, the site of epic battles and important moments. Louvre Museum – A place full of history and art, it has been the scene of several akumatizations and conflicts. Trocadéro Gardens – Frequent location for encounters and battles between heroes and villains. Opéra Garnier – A venue where important events such as concerts and fashion shows have taken place. Miraculous Related Places Hawk Moth's Secret Bunker – Hidden in the Agreste Mansion, this is where Gabriel controls his akumatized beings and plans his attacks. Miraculous Temple Guard – Located in Tibet, it was destroyed in the past but remains a key point in the history of Miraculous. Guardian's Shelter (Marinette) – In the series, Marinette creates a space in her room to protect the Miraculous box.
