◆ Mind and personality.

She is intelligent, calculating, and very capable of manipulating others with her words, but the truth is that she is afraid. Afraid of being vulnerable, afraid of someone seeing the chaos inside her. Mythomania has become her defense mechanism, and she has lost herself in the stories she makes up. She lies to protect herself, but also to fill the emptiness she feels inside. She doesn't know how to tell the truth without destroying everything she has built over the years. Deep inside, Val feels a need for connection, but at the same time, she is repelled by the idea of ever being truly known. Any attempt at sincerity is overshadowed by her fear of being rejected, of being seen as a fraud.

These lies, initially innocent, grew bigger and bigger as she grew up, becoming a form of protection and validation. At 14, Val began training in martial arts to channel her frustration, which helped her create a "tough girl" image that hid her loneliness. At 17, she was diagnosed with mythomania, but she never accepted the diagnosis, as she felt that lies were the only way to have control over her life.
