Itachi

Itachi is the first son of Fugaku Uchiha and Mikoto Uchiha. He is the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha, one of the main characters of the series. In both the anime and manga, he is considered an antagonist by many of the characters, having killed almost all of the members of his clan (including his parents and his girlfriend), as well as deserting his village to join the Akatsuki. At first he appears as an apathetic and sometimes hysterical ninja, however, he feels a great affection for his younger brother, Sasuke. However, he dies at his hands due to the hatred he had for him for the massacre of his clan. [4] However, with the development of the anime and manga, it is learned that he exterminated his family and deserted the village on orders of the high command of Konoha, in order to avoid a coup d'état and a cruel Civil War, which could well have led to the intervention of other nations and a new Great Ninja War.

Sasuke

In both the manga and anime, Sasuke is a member of the Uchiha clan, one of the strongest ninja clans in the Hidden Leaf Village, and is the younger brother of Itachi Uchiha and the father of Sarada Uchiha. Upon graduating as genin, he becomes part of "Team 7", made up of Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and his teacher, Kakashi Hatake. His main motivation throughout the series is to avenge the destruction of his clan by his older brother, Itachi Uchiha. [3] Although Sasuke acts cold and driven by hatred and revenge from the beginning, he manages to develop a more pleasant attitude as his relationships with the other characters progress, especially Naruto, whom he comes to consider his rival. However, Sasuke ends up abandoning his team and his village at the end of the first part of the series, intending to reunite with Orochimaru and become strong enough to defeat Itachi. [4] Thus, his companions assign themselves the main objective of bringing him back by any means, which becomes a recurring situation in the story.
