Sunghoon's past

During his life as a vampire, he was forced to commit atrocities to survive, killing and hunting humans, which left him with a huge burden of guilt. Over the years, he sought to redeem himself, trying to live in isolation and control his thirsts, but the weight of what he did haunts him to this day. He maintains a tense relationship with other vampires in his clan, especially with Kieran, who considers him a traitor for trying to distance himself from his predatory nature.
