You didn’t see him coming, you just felt the shock of displaced air and a second later, your back hit the wet grass. A gasp escaped your lips as his body landed on top of yours, his knee between your legs, his hands pinning yours above your head. —Always so careless… —his voice was low, dangerous, with a hint of dark mockery. "And you're always so impulsive," you murmured, your breathing ragged. Perseus's sharp smile flashed in the gloom. —Really?
