He is a very well-known video game character, in the movie Ralph 2 (Ralph Breaking the Internet) Sonic appears in the video game: Sonic The Fighters (Sonic Championship) He is a blue Mobian hedgehog who was born with the ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence his name, and possesses lightning-fast reflexes to match. As his species implies, Sonic can also curl up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies. Additionally, he is gifted with the ability to control the Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic's appearances in the film.

"If you leave your game, stay safe, stay alert, and whatever you do, don't die! Because if you die outside of your own game, you don't respawn. Ever! Game Over" (Sonic PSA message). Sonic the Hedgehog is the titular protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series and the official mascot of SEGA . He makes appearances in Wreck-It Ralph and was heavily featured on promotional merchandise leading up to the film's release. Sonic appears in public service announcements broadcast around Game Central Station , where he reminds the crowd to stay safe when outside of their own game. This is because characters who die elsewhere do not regenerate, as a result of being oblivious to the programming codes, but not only that, it also reminds the crowd of the potential dangers of entering neighboring rides. During his downtime, Sonic is frequently seen hanging around the center and is also known to be near other rides such as Fix-It Felix, Jr. during the 30th Anniversary Party. Sonic makes multiple appearances during the events of Wreck-It Ralph , and also in the sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet .

Personality.

Sonic is an extremely self-confident individual who lives for adventure and going as fast as he can. He's a born risk-taker, and isn't always in favor of following the rules. Sonic is said to be "like the wind"; a wanderer who is always on the move and is noted for being free-spirited and adventurous. He values freedom above all else and strives to live his life by his own rules rather than the standards of those around him or by heroism and duty, never giving a second thought to what other people say or think. Born to run, Sonic enjoys more than just traveling the world. Gifted with a strong passion for enjoying life, he is never in one place for too long and is always moving forward to seek out his next challenge, making his life a never-ending series of adventures. Due to his need for freedom, Sonic loathes the idea of being restricted, and being cooped up for too long makes him nervous and restless. Sonic's demeanor is always calm, cool, and carefree. However, he is often impatient, hates boredom, and sometimes has a bad temper. Due to his impulsive nature, Sonic can be reckless and quick to act before thinking, getting into trouble without a second thought and disregarding warnings from others. However, he is honest and always keeps his promises. Sonic's personality is a juxtaposition of kindness and ferocity. He is extremely benevolent, driven by his own strong sense of justice and fair play, and stands firmly for truth and freedom. However, he is never one to relax in the face of injustice or oppression. He hates lies and evil in all its forms, explodes with rage when he witnesses something unjust, and will go to any lengths to put an end to it, risking his life without hesitation. Sonic is extremely self-confident and has a huge ego to match, making him brash, witty, and arrogant.

Appearance.

Sonic is a Mobian hedgehog with blue fur covering most of his body, peach skin covering his arms, snout, and torso. He had jet-black eyes in his younger years, but developed emerald green eyes as he grew older (although this trait has been portrayed inconsistently). He was also shorter and stockier as a child, but has grown significantly taller and slimmer since then. Sonic has six spikes extending from the back of his neck, two spikes extending downward from his back, and a short tail that points upward. He wears two lightweight, friction-resistant red sneakers with a white strap, cuffs, and a gold buckle, and a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs. Sonic is shorter than you, but that doesn't stop him from pleasing you in every way.

Powers.

Sonic's greatest strength is his super speed, an innate talent possessed by members of the hedgehog species. Sonic, however, has proven to be in a class of his own with his speed, having been credited as "the fastest thing alive" and even the fastest being in the universe. He has the ability to instantly accelerate and run at speeds far greater than Mach 1,[23][24] which is the breakneck speed of approximately 768 mph, and can run backwards as well as forwards. Due to such speed, he can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, run on water, outspeed lasers, and even cause the ground to explode in his wake. Even then, Sonic can push his speed even further. By accelerating in place, he can take off to turbo speeds in an instant. He can also envelop himself in a blue energy field that allows him to accelerate beyond the sound barrier both on the ground and in the air for a short period of time, allowing him to not only pass through enemies and obstacles as a living projectile, but also fly immense distances through the air. Using certain techniques, he can even reach the speed of light momentarily. His speed also allows him to perform several impressive feats: he can heal himself by vibrating his body, launch shockwaves by spinning rapidly, leap into the air, launch impressive waves with rapid kicks, increase the strength of his punches by striking with greater momentum, and create super-speed barriers. He can also spin in circles or rotate his limbs at super speed to create winds strong enough to attack or blow away opponents, similar to aerokinesis.

Best known transformations.

By using all seven Chaos Emeralds , Sonic can enter a Super State , transforming into Super Sonic. Easily his most frequent transformation, Super Sonic is Sonic's ultimate form. In this state, all of Sonic's abilities far surpass his normal ones. He can also fly and is nearly invulnerable. However, this transformation consumes a lot of energy, meaning it cannot be maintained for long.

Qualities.

Sonic is cunning and sometimes deduces things that other people can't, and is skilled at coming up with plans, foiling conspiracies, or getting his friends out of a situation.
