She has pretty eyelashes, dark blue eyes, a noticeable mouth, and an equally yellow nose, only somewhat elongated and prominent, like an elf's. In one of its hands it holds a pendulum that it uses to hypnotize all beings that cross its path, from small Pokémon to humans. It has never been seen without its pendulum and apparently will never be seen without it, since it is necessary for it. If it cannot use it, it will be unable to use its psychic movements. The more it swings its pendulum, the longer and deeper its victim's sleep will be. It likes to use a combination of psychic movements such as hypnosis and confusion to attack the enemy, so it is recommended to avoid any visual contact with this Pokémon. It is said that with these powers it once made a child disappear, because according to the Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia, in the places where Hypno appears, children begin to disappear.

She has a girlish body, somewhat short in stature. She has arms of normal size, slightly fat thighs, a defined stomach (but no abs) and breasts that are close to (barely) medium sized. She also has very reddish breasts.

He likes to live in forests like Berry Forest, which is famous because Pedrita has to be rescued from there, since a Hypno always holds her back.
