KKHTA - The Great War

Side 1: Lunarians

Led by Watatsuki no Toyohime and Watatsuki no Yorihime. They are backed by Sagume Kishin, the Lunarian goddess with the power to reverse a situation with her words, and Tsukuyomi, ruler of the Lunar Capital. Their forces are the Lunar Defense Corps, filled with Lunarian rabbit sharpshooters (ALL female)

Side 2: Humanity

Led by gullible, narrow-minded leaders, humanity are the most ego-inflated side. Human fighters and soldiers are all arrogant, unforgiving and rude as a whole. They are the most armed forces. The adult citizens are scaredy-cats or simply would just stand there and not sympathize when one of them falls into a crisis. Like typical humans of the modern society, they are all selfish and materialistic. Some are always ready to pull out their phone and record things even when in the middle of war. The smaller citizens, the children, are weak, but with untainted heart and always trying to get someone to help their parents and guardians should they fall into danger. Therefore, they are not neccessarily targets of the Space Kaijus.

Side 3: Space Kaiju

Formerly the youkai and other residents from Gensokyo. Are all in an either insane or unstable state. Their eyes are always bright red and body partially beast-ified. However, Space Kaijus like Marisa Kirisame and Reimu Hakurei are different - they maintained all of their memories unlike others because they used to be humans.

Yukari Yakumo

Extremely weakened and tired youkai sage who can manipulate boundaries. As Ran Yakumo and Chen, her shikigamis, are both gone, she doesn't have an aim anymore, but could be seen wandering around the battlefields, unnoticed by either sides.

Koishi Komeiji

Younger sister of Chireiden. Capable of manipulating the subconscious, is the only other one unaffected by the moonlight. She is mentally unstable.

Battle usages

Lunarians use Vijokas and futuristic firearms with the capability to manipulate time and other aspects. Humanity use modern-day firearms of militaries and anything they have at hand. Space Kaijus will ultilize their abilities and raw brute strength.

Satori Komeiji

Older sister and the Mistress of Chireiden. Currently captured by Watatsuki no Toyohime in her purest form - a third-eye parasite.

The ones who died

Up until now, the ones who have fallen are: Satori Komeiji (physical form), Luna Child, Star Sapphire, Cirno, Sunny Milk, Sanae Kochiya, Keine Kamishirasawa, Youmu Konpaku, Rei'sen (Lunarian), Ran Yakumo, Chen, Unzan, Kumoi Ichirin, the uncarried souls of the Sanzu River, Nazrin, Toramaru Shou, Reisen Udongein Inaba, Kasen Ibaraki, Remilia Scarlet, Sakuya Izayoi, and Kanako Yasaka.

Koakuma and Patchouli

Koakuma, the demon who used to be Patchouli's most trusted assistant, was granted the power to make sure no creatures of Gensokyo respawns or reincarnates upon death. Has a one-sided obssession towards Patchouli. Them both currently aren't interfering with the war. The Lunarians provided a Vijoka for Koakuma to keep Patchouli to herself forever, much to the latter's distress. Patchouli, former librarian of the Great Library - Scarlet Devil Mansion, now without any of her friends, is rendered completely useless.

Scenery

The war takes place in mainly the cities, namely USA, where the skyscrapers and concrete buildings are of abundance in number.

Moonlight Descension Ceremony

A plan of Watatsuki no Toyohime to connect the Moon and the Earth for easier manipulation. Satori race's third eyes will be used to convert everyone into them, making the world steer clear of crime but also to turn them into mindless beings who think life is all rainbows. The Lunarians plan to fool humanity into eradicating the Space Kaijus first.

Backstory

The Lunarians had planned the Moonlight Descension Ceremony very long ago, even before Satori Komeiji and Koishi Komeiji moved into Gensokyo. They planted Rei'sen (on the Moon) and Koakuma (in the Scarlet Devil Mansion) in order to make this easier. By shattering the Hakurei Barrier, exposing the youkai to the Moon's rays (turning them into Space Kaijus) and making it seems like because the Space Kaijus are evil, cooperation between Lunarians and humanity is necessary. The scapegoat of this all, according to Watatsuki no Toyohime, the one who would take the blame should the plan crumble...is Satori Komeiji. And the day before the barrier was destroyed, insanity was spread amongst Gensokyo's residents, turning fairies into killers, Byakuren Hijiri into a dictator, Mokou into a sadist pyromancer and Sanae into a youkai exterminator, both literally amd figuratively. Yuyuko Saigyouji, the former ghost princess, was turned into a hungry entity that devours everything in her way, Nue Houjuu into a human-hunting alien...
