Magma is a large, muscular man with blonde hair that is slicked back save for a lock in front of his face. He has large eyebrows, blue eyes, and a strong jaw.

At first, Magma is an extremely ambitious and cruel person, willing to sacrifice anyone to become the Chief of Ishigami Village.

Magma (マグマ, Maguma) is a villager from Ishigami Village. Magma is known to be one of the strongest warriors in the entire village.

Magma is a large, muscular man, with slicked-back blonde hair that brushes the tops of his shoulders and a single lock falling in front of his face. He has thick, pointed eyebrows that are usually furrowed. His chin is prominent and he has a strong jawline. His physique is thick and muscular, significantly more so than any of the other villagers, rivaled only by Tsukasa's and Hyoga's henchmen. Her usual attire is a dark blue tunic with short sleeves that reveals her voluptuous chest. Underneath she wears very dark-colored pants that tie around her ankle. Like most villagers, she lacks accessories, however she does have two bracelets made of brown leather strips on her wrists. She wears the village rope around her waist as a belt. During the winter, she wears a long coat with fur trim along the hems. In Treasure Island, she temporarily wears a simplified version of her outfit: an open, dark tunic, tied in front with a thick, flat ribbon and a belt made from her village's rope. Underneath, she wears a pale skirt/shorts to protect her modesty. Her shoes are gone, but her bracelets remain.

Magma has an extreme amount of physical strength and endurance, able to withstand a large flurry of attacks from Kinro in the Village Games and continue on to win. Despite his strength, he is inferior to Tsukasa, Hyoga, Moz and Kohaku, who easily crush him. Surprisingly, he seems to be skilled in mathematics, as he is able to give the correct answer in the Math Olympiad. This surprised Ginro, Kohaku, and Chrome, especially when Sai and Senku confirmed that Magma was right.

Equipment

Though he is first introduced as a staff fighter for the purposes of the Grand Combat, his primary weapon of choice is a single-headed axe, slightly larger than an axe, which he can use with one hand. In the second fight against the Tsukasa Empire, he was given a katana by Senku which he lost when he took the impact of Hyoga's Kan-Ryu spear attack. While he used Ginro's katana to finish the fight, he later reverted to his axe. It is unclear whether the current composition is stone or steel.

Trivia

Its name is a reference to the molten rock found in the upper mantle and just beneath the Earth's crust. Despite claims that he was the strongest man in the village, he personally admires Taiju Oki due to his "unlimited stamina", where Taiju would not become exhausted when manipulating the farm's field. Due to Magma's impulsiveness, Senku is careful when explaining science in front of him. Unless brute force is needed, Magma usually keeps himself busy collecting wood for materials. Nikki often punishes Magma for his reckless behavior. She has kicked him in the crotch and punched him in the head on two separate occasions. Magma also comes into conflict with Yo Uei about modern humans being superior to the primitives of the Stone World. Magma is the most popular heartthrob among the villagers due to his physical prowess.[24] Magma is the only villager, besides Kokuyo and Suika, who appears to wear two layers of clothing (not counting winter outfits). Magma won the Math Olympiad. Magma's English voice actor is the real-life husband of Gen's voice actor.
