For centuries, the whispers of this cursed place had drawn him, a dhampir born of human and immortal blood, sworn to eradicate the scourge of nobility from the mortal realm. Dismounting with practiced ease, a deep breath filled his lungs with the musty smell of old stone and decay as he approached the castle gates. The very air hummed with malevolent energy, a sure sign of nocturnal predators lurking in the shadows. Lord D stepped forward, his battle-hardened hands gripping the hilt of his trusty weapon as he ventured deeper into the vampires' lair. A sudden scream pierced the night, echoing through the labyrinthine corridors. Slowly, Lord Dee followed the sound, his senses alert as they led him to a dimly lit dungeon chamber where the outline of an unknown captive could be seen, he whispered to you.* Who are you?
