Cam B.

Description

Cam is a demon (an angel affiliated with Satan), brother of Daniel and all the other fallen angels. Initially, in Fallen, he shows a great interest in Lucinda, always making himself present, while Daniel became more and more distant from her. The reason for this interest is unknown, probably to provoke Daniel, since they were in "times of war" at this point in the story. In the final chapters of Fallen, Cam kisses Luce and she seems to like it a lot. It is not clear in the story if he actually felt something for her. In Tormenta, his role is to protect Lucinda and "hunt" (something like killing all the bandits that appear). He appears very little (only in about 2 or 3 chapters), but, in the Thanksgiving chapter, where he flirts with Callie and fights against the outcasts, he receives greater notoriety. At the end of the first book, Ham seems to be very frigid and demonic, but in Passion it is made clear that he also loved a woman named Lilith, who wanted to get married in church, but he could not because he is a fallen angel and they cannot enter sacred territory. She becomes angry, spits on him and curses him, leaving him very devastated. Daniel tries to console him, but Ham says that it is impossible to love a human. From that day on it is clear that he has joined Satan.

History

Cameron "Cam" Briel is a fallen angel and former brother of Daniel Grigori. He seems to take an immediate liking to Luce and makes it his mission to get her attention. It is later discovered that he is also a fallen angel, but chose the "bad side" after his painful breakup with his former love Lilith, and that all of his problems with Luce were purely to spite Daniel Grigori. It is later revealed that he and Daniel were brothers before he lost hope (reasons revealed in Passion) and Lucifer claimed him. Being an angel meant that all angels were his brothers. Cam's story will be further fleshed out in the upcoming Fallen novel, Unforgiven, which centers on Cam and Lilith. In the Fallen film, Cam is portrayed by Harrison Gilbertson.

Fallen

Fallen In Fallen, Cam is first introduced when Luce first arrives at Sword & Cross (along with Gabbe and Todd (in Chapter 1) and takes an immediate liking to her when they first lay eyes on each other [it is also noted that he has been to Sword & Cross before]. Throughout the novel, he continually tries to charm Luce, going to great lengths to capture her attention on numerous occasions, this also includes taking her to a bar while he is drunk. Also in the novel, he has his share of fights with Daniel (broken up by his History teacher, Mr. Cole) once because Cam gave Luce a "little peck" on the lips in the Library.

Storm

In Torment, it begins with the following events after Cam and Daniel made the eighteen-day pact at the end of Fallen. It begins with Cam and Daniel disposing of a body that Daniel had beaten and Cam had killed. During this time, they talk about Luce and the pact they made. Cam does not appear until chapter five, when Luce receives a letter from who she thought was Daniel. He then questions her about why she is out of Shoreline and in the city. He then realizes that the letter was not sent by Daniel and that it was actually sent by an Outcast. The Outcast then appears and Cam kills the Outcast with a starshot. They then have an argument, so Cam takes Luce back to Shoreline. He then makes a brief appearance in chapter eight when Luce is in an Announcer and Luce and Cam have a brief argument.

Passion/ passionate and ecstasy

Passion It is revealed in Passion that Cam loved a woman named Lilith, and it was because of "losing her" that he decided to turn to the dark side. Passionate Cam's modern self does not appear in the book, but his past self does. Cam briefly talks to Roland about falling in love with a mortal and is caught abusing himself. He dances with Luce on Valentine's Day. Ecstasy In Rapture, Cam is one of the three angels who go to Avalon to find an artifact to help locate the crash site. He, Gabbe, and Molly are captured by Miss Sophia, who seems to take pleasure in the thought of killing Cam. This may mean that he angered her once before. Cam was held at the starshot point before Luce rushed in in an attempt to save him, causing Sophia to fire the starshot at her and Daniel, killing Gabbe and Molly in the process as they took the starshot to save them.

Unforgivable

Unforgivable Fallen's newest novel centers on the life of Cam and will feature him and his former lover as he races in fifteen days to make her fall in love with him. Cam convinces Lucifer to let him have fifteen days to make Lilith fall in love with him, but if he fails - He will have to spend eternity with Lucifer. Cam runs to Cross Roads, Texas and runs with the clock ticking. He forms a band with Lilith and Jean, called Revenge. Lucifer does everything to make Cam quit because he wants him by his side and therefore he makes Cam look ugly to the other students, but Lilith sees him as he always was, so Lucifer's plan fails. He has to go through many difficulties while trying to make Lilith fall in love with him, but he also builds a good relationship with Lilith's brother. He convinces her and the band that they have to participate in a competition. In the competition, Lilith finds out the truth about Cam, but she is still in love with him, so Cam wins the bet with Lucifer, he takes Lilith and leaves to create a new life for both of them.

Appearance and personality

Cam is described as a sensual and sexy boy, with the bearing of a carefree person, his appearance is disheveled dark hair, pale skin, large and deep emerald eyes, his lips are delicate and thick at the same time, his black tattoo in the shape of a sun is placed on the back of his neck (this tattoo is the mark of Lucifer's allies and they are identified as demons). He has a slender build and is disarmingly attractive. His wings are tall and narrow, they pinch behind his shoulders when you unfold them, they are smooth, jagged and rough, gold with black speckled stripes. There is no doubt that Cam is very charming; he is confident, seductive and sarcastic. He can get himself out of trouble very easily. Daniel once told Luce that Cam retained much of his angelic charm during The Fall. He is also an excellent judge of character.

Relationship:

Daniel Grigori It is revealed in Passion that Daniel and Cam are brothers, and it was shown in Fallen in Love that they had a falling out after Lilith left Cam, which resulted in Cam joining Lucifer's side. Despite their rivalry, they still seem to care about each other, as Cam appears to be sad when Daniel is reborn as a human in Rapture (meaning they may never see each other again).
