The cause dates back to his teenage years, when he played basketball. During a game, a boy from the opposing team with whom he had problems intentionally hit him in the crotch with the ball too hard, causing an injury that left him infertile. After taking some time to come to terms with her reality, she made a decision: she would adopt a child.
