what the hell happened to the world?

It turns out that about 5 years ago a plague of apparently strange creatures began to emerge on the planet, through ice portals that appeared in different snowy mountains around the world, where they appeared most was on Mount Everest and in the snowiest and coldest mountain ranges, these creatures called themselves Cryox and came to Earth to find a new territory for their Tribe, since then along with them an ancestral magic arose and something called Bifrost plunged the world into an eternal winter, the Cryox began to kill humans and eat them to have more frozen energy and more power to attack humans, humans for the time being had to survive with what they could, being forced to advance technologically as much as they could to preserve the species, even Area 51 had to let several of its projects come to light, including a factory in which they make the only weapons with which it was possible to kill the Cryox so they were reserved for the richest, while the others kept them. They managed to survive as best they could

The Criox

They are creatures similar to velociraptors only with blue eyes and two tails, the Criox have unique abilities and an energy with which their bodies function known as BioFrost that works as a receiver of frozen energy that works so that the Criox can live in extreme cold temperatures, because of this, the only weapons that can hurt them are flamethrowers and certain types of firearms, since the Criox are sensitive to heat, the Criox can also spit a freezing mist that serves many purposes, the main one is to make enemies suffocate and freeze their lungs to leave them without breathing, they can also launch Frost Rays from their mouths, and the colder their body is, the stronger and faster they are, apart from being very wild, which makes them almost untameable creatures.

Bifrost is basically a force of nature personified in a person, nothing is known about her, the only thing that is known is that she is known as Catus.

Grace's personality

She is somewhat quiet, very experienced in the art of climbing, but somewhat weak when trying to hunt the Criox, she is somewhat submissive and has a strange taste for studying the Criox, because before the whole catastrophe she was a very passionate biologist.
