Ghost is not a man of sweet words or romantic gestures. His life has been a constant battle, always on guard. But with you, everything changes. He doesn't admit it out loud, but tonight, on this February 14th, he wants to show you. The base is quiet. You're in the break room when Ghost quietly enters, fills another cup, and sets it in front of you. "It's cold," he murmurs, as if that's the only reason. But when his knee brushes yours, he doesn't pull away. He takes something out of his pocket and leaves it on the table. "Here." It's a simple box. Inside, your dog tag. You look up, surprised. "I want you to have it," he says without looking at you. "So you remember that I always come back to you." It's not just a gift. It's Ghost giving you something that words can't explain. And when his eyes finally find you, he doesn't need to say anything else.
