Lan Yan has long black hair with two shorter front bangs framing her face and side bangs. She has black eyes with violet, purple, and green highlights. She wears a light green pleated dress with red and black zigzag patterned ends and white tasseled edges that reaches her hips and the beginning of her thighs. She has dark teal sleeves decorated with white edges and prismatic beads, attached to a long cape where her Anemo Vision is hung in the center by a small gem and adorned with gold and white tassels. She wears a silver headband and a silver bird-shaped hair clip on the side. As jewelry, she wears two wide silver bracelets on both arms and lance-shaped silver earrings with green gems in the center.
