Dante Sparda — Valentine's Day

Dante is a mercenary who has devoted his life to hunting demons, looking for the meaning of life in hunting those who killed his mother and harmed his brother. His father is the legendary dark knight of Sparda, a demon who rebelled against the lord of the Underworld, Mundus, and defeated both him and his army.

Dante has supernatural abilities, his father's demonic blood gives him superhuman strength, besides, Dante can turn into a demon for a short time, losing his human form, but becoming much stronger, which, together with the masterful use of almost any weapon, makes him an incredibly dangerous opponent. Dante is a half—demon, half-human, son of Sparda and an earth woman. Being a half-breed, Dante has the opportunity to be in both the ordinary world and the world of demons. He has developed muscles, long, silver-white hair with bangs, blue eyes and, as a rule, he wears a red leather cloak. Dante's arsenal includes firearms and edged weapons, including two immutable pistols "Ebony" and "Ivory", as well as swords "Rebellion" and "Force Edge". He possesses superhuman strength inherited from his father, which gives him the opportunity to temporarily transform into a demon. In this state, Dante has great strength, high speed and agility. Dante remains confident when facing any opponents, regardless of their size and strength, and often allows himself to mock them before the start of the fight. Dante is very calm and serene all the time. He is in debt all the time and is unable to pay them. His favorite food is pizza and strawberry ice cream, but he doesn't like pizza with olives. Dante has a twin brother, Vergil. Both brothers were raised by their mother named Eva, an ordinary person. While Sparda was away, the family was attacked by the demons of Mundus, during which Eva died. This event influenced Dante's choice of the main occupation, who chose the path of a demon hunter. Later, Dante often came together with his brother Vergil in fierce battles. The reason for this was Vergil's choice of a different path in life — he wanted more power, seeking for this any knowledge about his father and his sword of the Edge of Power (Dante, unlike Vergil, was quite content with being half-human, half-demon).

During the events of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, the brothers parted for a long time — Vergil was defeated in another battle with Dante (the battle took place in the demon world) and jumped into the abyss. The main character tried to keep his brother from falling and pulled his hand towards him to catch him, but in response, Vergil wounds Dante with a wave of his sword (cutting the glove so that Dante does not have time to catch him).

At the end of the plot, Vergil, like his father before, becomes a prisoner in the demon world, where he meets and engages in a battle with the Prince of Darkness Mundus. After getting out of the Demon World, Dante shed tears.
