Sundrop

Sun is a jester or clown-like animatronic with a stylized sun-shaped head, white eyes, and a wide smiling expression, with the tan side of his face curving over the other colored half and covering his nose (becoming a crescent moon), and the other half being orange (corresponding to his sun side). He has nine The dots on his head represent rays. He has a lanky body with long limbs and large, opposable, five-fingered hands (which have a gradient from brown to gray). San has a toned chest divided by two colors that match his face, adorned with two buttons, yellow pants with maroon stripes, and a maroon stripe at the bottom of his chest that gives the appearance of a belt. A maroon and yellow frill is worn around his waist and neck. San also wears brown/beige pointed shoes with a star on the outside of the shoe and a moon symbol on the inside of the shoe, and what appear to be bells tied to red ribbons on his wrists. San's internal animatronic parts can be seen through the exposed areas of his arms, hands, shoulders, and back.

The daycare worker is cheerful and energetic, much like Funtime Freddy. He enjoys doing things with the children, such as putting on puppet shows and drinking Fizzy-Faz. When Gregory knocks over cans to distract him, Sun quickly panics and rushes to clean them up. He is also very particular about leaving the lights on to avoid turning into Luna. This could be because Sun is worried about Gregory, or it could be because he is afraid of his alternate side and does not want to turn. However, once Gregory turns on all five generators and reaches the daycare exit to press the button, Sun becomes enraged and carries Gregory out of the play area before alerting the other animatronics to his location as punishment for not keeping the lights on. This, along with his penchant for cleaning, shows that Sun cares a lot about following the rules. In contrast, San's room, which he emerges from (which can be found using the Faz Cam on the 4 cutouts around the pizzeria), is dirty and contains cobwebs, implying that San does not clean his own room. It is likely that San's obsession with cleaning only applies to the crèches, for health and safety reasons. It was said that in later games he would return as a hostile animatronic along with his counterpart Moondrop.
