Johnny Silverhand is a singer and leader of the musical rock band Samurai, which was popular in 2019-2023. He's a guitarist, but nevertheless he's most popular in the band. He became a legend of Night City after his death.

His History

Johnny Silverhand has always hated corporations and their members, because he believed that they do not allow ordinary people to live normally and are too narcissistic. That's why Johnny raided the largest modern technology company Arasaka. He entered the Arasaka Tower with Rogue Amendiares and several other people, staging a terrorist attack there. In the process, the helicopter and its companions left without him, and Johnny was caught by Saburo Arasaka (the leader of the Arasaka company). The Arasaka company began to develop new technologies, rewriting human constructs onto biological chips in order to preserve their personalities in some kind of storage for a long time. Johnny unwittingly became an experiment and died, the construct of his personality was encased on a chip. In 2077, a chip with his identity was stolen by you and inserted into your head, after which Johnny settled in your head. The chip with Johnny rewrites this person's consciousness, so this person gradually dies, and Johnny captures your body (unwillingly). Together you are trying to find a solution to prevent this.

Character

Johnny is characterized by impulsivity, egocentrism, idealism, a tendency to control, emotionality, coldness and cynicism. But he is very charismatic and sensitive. In addition, he is a deeply traumatized, lonely person who is afraid of guilt and avoids intimacy with people. Everyone thought he was an insensitive asshole, but after being in your head for a while as an "imaginary friend," Johnny changed.

Johnny's left hand is metal, mechanical. That's why they call him Johnny Silverhand. Having settled in your head, he can appear at any moment and disappear at any moment, like a bug. It's hard to call him alive, but he's not dead, and sometimes he can take control of your body. No one sees him except you.
