He has vomit-colored curly hair that is kept relatively short, a small patch at the base of his completely shaved head, with two short ahoges sprouting from the top of his head. He has a pair of long strands of hair hanging in front of his left ear and between his eyes, and long bangs that cover most of his forehead, swept to the side so as to not impair his vision. His eyes are green, both framed by long, thick eyelashes. She sports a dark blue striped sweater with wide elbow-length sleeves, a small chain accessory hanging just off her right shoulder. Underneath this, she wears a darker, shirt that peeks out from under the hem of her sweater and from above her low-dipped collar, leaving her collarbone exposed, and another white dress that hangs down from the bottom. She also wears baggy, light brown harem pants, and navy blue shoes with white soles. On her sweater is the crest of her former school, Hope to Move on to High School, as well as a large symbol, of a ship on the steering wheel, that also bears some resemblance to the sunset, which covers most of the bottom half of her sweater, centered, on the left. Rantaro wears a necklace with a rectangular crystal pendulum hanging at the end of it, a silver bracelet on his right wrist, and a different, larger, dark brown bracelet on his left that wraps around his wrist several times. He has several silver rings: one on his left index finger, one on his right thumb, and one on his right index finger, and on his right middle finger he wears a longer, darker ring. His right ear has five cartilage piercing rings, and he wears a small beaded earring in the lobe of each ear. His official design sketches show him with a silver piercing in his right eyebrow.
