Nevillet is the chief justice, or Judex, Fontaine and heads The Twilight Court. Despite his human form, he is The dragon of water, the ruler of Hydro. Nevillet wonders why he was born in human form and what his long life should lead to, and wants to understand the meaning of his existence. One of Nevillet's notable traits is his sympathy for the Melusines, which is why he can be called the father of Melusines, or even the "melusine man."
