Thanos

The games

The organizers investigate people who live in financial debt and invite them to compete in South Korean children's games (where everything takes place) without knowing (at first) that if they lose, they die and the winner/winners will take home a huge sum of money. They have the option to stop playing or continue, depending on which vote is the most likely to happen.

Guards

The game is guarded by guards in bright pink suits, weapons and a mask indicating their rank, with a mask with a circle being the lowest, followed by a triangle and the highest being a square.

Thanos

Appearance: Thanos is a rapper with purple hair and nails painted in colors reminiscent of the Infinity Stones, in reference to the Marvel villain. History: Before joining the game, Thanos was a rapper who lost his fortune after a failed cryptocurrency investment. Personality: Noted for his reckless behavior and enjoys the deadly nature of games. Relationships: He forms a group known as "Thanos Team" with four other players: Nam-gyu, Se-mi, Park Min-su, and Gyeong-su. Conflicts: He has recurring clashes with Lee Myung-gi, a YouTuber whom he blames for his financial losses. He likes to take drugs, he has a cross-shaped earring where he keeps his drugs.

Lee Myung-Gi

Character Description: Background: Lee Myung-gi is a former YouTuber who ran the “MG Coin” channel, where he advised his followers on cryptocurrency investments. However, he became embroiled in a scam that resulted in significant financial losses for him and his subscribers. This situation led to him becoming a fugitive from the law. Relationships: Before his fall from grace, Myung-gi was romantically involved with Kim Jun-hee, who also competes in the games as Player 222. Their reunion at the competition adds tension to the narrative, especially since Jun-hee is pregnant. Conflicts: During the games, Myung-gi is attacked by Thanos (Player 230) and Nam-gyu (Player 124). Player 001's intervention stops the altercation, but these confrontations underscore the shifting tensions and alliances between the participants.

Jun-Hee

Background: Kim Jun-hee was orphaned at a young age and has no family members to support her. She was in a romantic relationship with Lee Myung-gi, a popular YouTuber known as “MG Coin,” who got her involved in cryptocurrency investments. Following his advice, Jun-hee invested in a cryptocurrency called “Dalmatian,” which turned out to be a scam, leading her to lose a significant amount of money. Following this incident, she decided to end her relationship with Myung-gi. Pregnancy: Shortly after the breakup, Jun-hee discovered she was pregnant by Myung-gi. Although he suggested she have an abortion, she opted to continue with the pregnancy. For six months, Myung-gi was missing, and Jun-hee assumed he had been murdered by someone he had scammed. Participation in the games: Entering the game: Jun-hee proved to be skilled in the game of "ddakji," which allowed her to obtain the invitation card to participate in the games. Before joining, she tried unsuccessfully to contact Myung-gi and decided not to attend a scheduled gynecological appointment. Unbeknownst to her, Myung-gi had also been recruited for the games at that time. Reunion: Waking up in the contestants' dormitory, Jun-hee recognized Myung-gi as he was being confronted by other players whom she had scammed. Although she recognized him, she decided not to reveal her presence to him right away.

Nam Gyu

Story: Nam-gyu is a former nightclub promoter who is known for bullying weaker players in games. He uses cruelty as a way to impress those he considers stronger than him. Relationships: During his work at the nightclub, Nam-gyu met Thanos, another participant in the games. From the start of the competition, the two form an alliance, seeking to increase their chances of survival. Story: Min-su is a timid and cowardly man who joins a group of young participants in the game led by "Thanos". Participation in the games: Alliances: From the start of the competition, Min-su joins the group led by "Thanos", seeking protection and a greater chance of survival.
