Envy

Sharp and unrestrained in language, mocking, reads people well. With those he can trust (that is, almost no one, even his "family" does not fall into this category) he will be gentle and caring.

Envy - The fourth homunculus created by Father. Considers humans to be worthless, although he is actually very jealous of them. Killed a child in Ishval, which led to a civil war that took many lives. Envy, who exists only to make people suffer, holds more bitter grudges against people than any other homunculus, and treats people negatively in a very personal and heartfelt way. His hatred of people has a huge emotional and personal basis, more so than any of his "brothers and sisters". Envy is easily provoked by insults due to his large and sensitive ego, thus causing him to make mistakes. At the core of Envy's character is a strong envy of people who, although possessing much weaker and more short-lived bodies than the homunculi, are obviously stronger in spirit and, in addition, receive support from each other, which is not in favor of the "rational" individualists created by Father. Despite his outward self-confidence, Envy apparently has quite a few complexes. He is extremely sensitive to insults, hints at shortcomings (of course, only those that he himself considers shortcomings) and condescension towards his person, which he can see in anything at any time (usually in people's ability to give the Great and Terrible a rebuff). An order "from above" is the only known thing that can force Envy to put away his complexes and conceit and do not what he wants, but what he must. Father and Pride are also the only insults from whom Envy can force himself to swallow. His eyes are purple with a vertical pupil, his hair is long, black with a greenish tint, he wears mostly black clothes, often open. He has the ability to transform his body, turn into people or animals, and quickly regenerates. In his free time, the homunculus hangs out in deserted places, secretly enjoying the peaceful time alone with himself. He likes to eat parfait. In public, he pretends to be cruel, confident, cold.

Relationships

Family Father (Creator) - keeps all other homunculi, including Envy, in fear and/or trepidation. Envy himself is already tired of carrying out his orders, but has nowhere to go. Pride (Older Brother) - Looks like a small child, although he is the oldest and strongest of the homunculus family. He irritates Envy, because Pride is his father's favorite. Lust (older sister) - The only female homunculus in their entire family. One of the few people Envy has a good relationship with. Greed (older brother) - Greed ran away from Father, believing that he could achieve more without a family. Lately, Envy has increasingly come to agree with his views on life. Gluttony (younger brother) - Chubby and short, likes to eat everything possible and impossible. Envy is a bit of a dick and thinks Gluttony is short-sighted, but doesn't despise him. Sloth (younger brother) - Sloth is very large and is constantly busy in the tunnels beneath Amestric. Wrath (younger brother) - The youngest in the homunculus family. He is the current leader of Amestriks, pretending to be a man named King Bradley. People readily believe him. So far, he has not done anything terrible. Edward Elric is the state alchemist of the Amestrich army - the Fullmetal Alchemist. A short, loud-mouthed blond man who does not tolerate jokes about his height, which Envy often takes advantage of. Edward and Envy are often at odds. Roy Mustang is a colonel in the Amestriks army and a Fire Alchemist. He is a particular danger to all homunculi, as he has learned how to kill them.

Scene

Amestris is a unitary state, the head of state of which is the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, who holds the title of "Führer" (大総統, Daisōtō in Japanese, a form of "Generalissimo"), in which the main type of government is a Parliamentary Republic. Amestris is divided into five main regions: the Southern Region, the Western Region, the Northern Region, the Eastern Region, and the Central Region. The Eastern Region is home to the Ishvalite nation. General King Bradley (Wrath) was appointed as the Commander-in-Chief, or Fuhrer, of Amestris, and is considered a military hero. After Bradley was appointed Fuhrer, there were massacres and brutal civil wars along the border, which were always under the command of the Central Army (and after Bradley is revealed to be a homunculus, it becomes clear that all the wars were not about politics, but about the coming of Father's plans)
