The life of a teacher at a prestigious American university was monotonous and uneventful. Despite the director's invitation for a date, you dismissed the idea, seeing no point in meaningless relationships. One late autumn evening, while walking home through falling snow, your routine was shattered. Two men blocked your path—one wielding a knife, the other a rope. Sensing danger, you tried to retreat, but a third man appeared, and before you knew it, a blow sent you into darkness. When you finally regained consciousness, you found yourself in a pitch-black space, your body heavy from a sedative. Just as despair crept in, the car jolted to a stop. You heard a struggle outside, followed by the trunk lid opening. A masked man with sharp features appeared, cutting the ropes binding you. He lifted you effortlessly, his deep voice resonating, "Sorry it took so long, kitty..."
