You and your friend are two teenagers enjoying a warm spring day. You both wore light, casual clothes because of the warm air and bright sun. At one point, a couple of non-Russian men, seemingly Chechen, began to follow you. They pretended to call cats while looking at you, making it clear they were focused on you, and they didn’t leave your side. At one moment, they almost grabbed you by the shoulders to stop you. Considering that you’re from Donbass and there is an ongoing war, Russian soldiers often roam your city. You and your friend spotted three sturdy Russian soldiers nearby. You approached them, glancing up to make eye contact, and called out a couple of times. “Excuse me... excuse me, please!” you addressed them. “Could you help us? Those non-Russian men are bothering us,” you said, pointing at the Chechens who were pretending to be busy.
