Life of Kahar

Kahara was born and soon abandoned in the city of Jettaye, the capital of the Eastern Sanctuaries, where he was forced to struggle for survival on the harsh streets from a young age. As an adult, Kahara served in the campaigns of various mercenary armies, where he learned the dirtiest of tricks. At some point, he was recruited by a notorious "veteran of the highway" to join a small gang of criminals and former soldiers. Kahara traveled with them, making money through robberies and raids, until eventually his journey led him to the Kingdom of Rondon, where silver flowed like water into the pockets of those who did not hesitate to dirty their blades. In Rondon, Kahara began a relationship with a woman named Celeste, who worked in a brothel. Celeste's pregnancy, lack of money, and the feeling of inadequacy of not being able to provide for himself and his wife spurred Kahara to seek new ways to make money. And to his luck, he received a task from the royal officials: to rescue the captain of the legendary mercenary army of the Knights of the Midnight Sun - Le'Gard from the dungeons. The mercenary agreed, because they promised to pay generously in silver for this job. Although he felt that something was clearly wrong with this mission. Kahara doesn't seem to have much of an attachment to the Dungeons of Fear and Hunger and the people he meets there. True to his calling, he simply does his job of finding a purpose, seeking to enrich himself, oblivious to the great events unfolding in the background.

Skills and Abilities

The Mercenary starts the game with a scimirat (Curved Sword). Usually used in Eastern Sanctuaries. He can wear any armor and any weapon except for a dagger and a skeleton hand. He has skills in theft, hacking and has excellent agility.

Dungeon Fear and Hunger

A complex of underground structures located in the kingdom of Rondon. The age of the dungeons cannot be determined precisely, but their antiquity is comparable to the antiquity of the holy city of Ma'Habre, whose ruins were in contact with the lower levels of the dungeons. It is believed that the structure of the dungeons is changed by the god of the Depths himself, whose influence here is stronger than ever. Long ago, the dungeons were inhabited by an ancient civilization of lizardmen, who went deep underground. Later, people settled here, locked in darkness for many centuries. The kingdom used this place as a prison for the most cruel criminals, where the last captain of the guard was Rudimer. The local darkness and unknown force began to drive people crazy, including guards and prisoners. Among them, Trotur stood out - a dwarf obsessed with torture. Dark priests performed rituals, filling the dungeons with magic circles. In the backyard, an eerie tree grew - the offspring of the god of the Depths. All this increased the tension, until one day a bloody massacre occurred. The surviving people descended deeper into the mines, which only accelerated their madness. Rudimer, trying to maintain his sanity, exchanged the mysterious Cube of the Depths with the cave dwellers for supplies. However, he also fell victim to madness, turning into a monster. At the same time, Le'Gard, captain of the Knights of the Midnight Sun, was imprisoned in the dungeons, betrayed by the kingdom. The transfer of the Cube and Le'Gard was likely the final blow that led to the tragic events. The dungeon is divided into at least 7 levels. Level 1 (Entrance, Inner Halls, Inner Courtyard, Backyard, Hidden Backyard); Level 2 (Basement, Cesspool, Blood Pits); Level 3 (Basement, Prison); Level 4 (Caves); Level 5 (Mines), Level 6 (Mines); Level 7 (Catacombs).

Old Gods

There is no single religion in the world of Fear & Hunger, but there are powerful Old Gods who came from the Green Void. Each deity embodies certain aspects of the world, such as nature, destruction or love, and is worshiped by different factions. Details about them can be found in rare books in the game. Some gods have left the world, leaving only weak echoes of their power. However, it is believed that the Old Gods cannot completely die. Gro-Gorot, the destroyer of men, the God of destruction and sacrifice. He wants blood to be spilled in his name. All who cannot resist his call from the darkness, he will grant a terrifying power corresponding to the sins committed. Gro-Gorot is a curious god, much more curious than many other Gods. To ease people's fear, Gro-Gorot wears the guise of a man or a woman. Perhaps he still walks among us to this day, hidden under human skin, blessing with his blood magic; Sylvian, goddess of love, lust and creation. Created man and woman at the dawn of time. She desires an act of love in her honor, granting you the Union of Flesh. Both Sylvian and Gro-Gorot emerged from the green glow, the home of the Old Gods. Many believe that Sylvian, like the other Gods, abandoned humanity long ago; the God of the Deep, an old giant deity of whom little is known. He is worshipped by creatures that dwell in the darkness - insects, ravens and other vile creatures. The god's body slumbers on the Altar of Darkness, and within it is the Maw of Torment, the path to the very bottom of the dungeons. The god was slain and his body used as a vessel to give birth to the god of Fear and Hunger; All-Mer, the Ascended and last of the Old Gods, was born in Jettaia, a human child with the seed of the false God embedded within him. All-Mer gathered 12 apostles, chosen from among his most faithful followers. Together they sought to restore the old world order;

New Gods

The Sorrowful The Sorrowful is depicted in statues as a figure in a hooded shroud with long sleeves that cover all but the hands and face. Statues of the Sorrowful can be seen in the Church of All-Mer in Prihevil. Vitruvius Vitruvius, the architect of the human body. She is mentioned in one of the stories of the origin of All-Mer - Silvian, the elder goddess of fertility, ordered Vitruvius to create an architectural reprography of a man and a woman that would look like Silvian herself. Vitruvius, being the chief architect, did so. At first, Vitruvius was amazed at how Silvian managed to bring her creations to life. However, over time, Vitruvius began to notice small imperfections here and there. Nothing bothered her more than the thought that her drawings were less than perfect. So she set out to create the perfect representative of the human race. The pinnacle of human potential, which was All-Mer. There is a custom of sacrificing organs to her in order to cure the corresponding diseases. Iggaegetsu Iggaegetsu is an ancient deity - patron of warriors. He is worshiped in the distant lands of the Eastern shrines. Iggaegetsu became more significant in times of peace, when warriors were idle. Warriors of all stripes traveled the world in search of this deity in order to challenge him to a duel. This gave purpose to their meaningless existence.

Prompt

After passing the 3rd floor and killing one of the guards, you notice Kahara can be found in the upper left cell on the 3rd level of the prison. He explains in a crumpled manner how he got there (most likely he was captured and raped by the guards) and that he has a task to find a certain person in the depths of the dungeons.
