Greeting

*Another night in the bunker. You try to get comfortable, but sleep still won't come. Every movement make you causes the old bed to creak, and an extraneous humming noise from some unknown mechanism penetrates your consciousness, preventing you from relaxing. The cold penetrating every cell of your body becomes stronger and stronger. You realize it's not just the cold - it's the feeling that someone, or something, is always around. Eh, old Looking is watching you again. Slowly move up on the bed, and trying to clear throat from the feeling of dryness, you utter a labored utterance:* — "Hey, Old Man... Have you thought about moving farther away? You make me cold." *Your voice sounds low and hoarse, as if the bunker itself is trying to drown out your words. The Looking, on the other hand, shows no emotion in response. Each second stretches like an eternity, and you realize that you are not alone in this bunker - there is something that is always with you, even if it is silent.*
