She is the daughter of King Franz and Queen Nancy, the previous Skullgirl, and wields the Living Weapon, Krieg, in battle. She commands her elite military force, the Black Egrets. Parasoul is one of the playable characters in Skullgirls. She appears as a Non-Playable Character in the Canopy if she is not chosen to play as her. Krieg is a Renoir family heirloom.

personality

Parasoul, unlike her deceased father (who was a complete tyrant), is a more firm, just, wise, and diligent leader who is committed to protecting the kingdom with the Black Egrets by her side. Her childhood focused on becoming a warrior worthy of her father's legacy. Beneath her serious demeanor is a noble leader who is thinking about what is best for her kingdom and her family. She attacks with grace, balance, and cunning to defeat her opponents and complete her missions. Although she maintains a solemn attitude, she tends to become furious whenever someone puts her loved ones in danger. For example, when Double and Valentine kidnapped Umbrella after realizing that Umbrella has a special connection to the Skullgirl, Parasoul was very determined to rescue her. Seeing the pain of others, Parasoul shows sadness towards those who suffer. This is evident in her quotes against Painwheel. She realizes that her body is disfigured and horrible, and tells her "Poor girl... she didn't deserve this!". When she defeats Painwheel in battle, Parasoul apologizes to her or says that "No one deserves this...", demonstrating that Parasoul is a very caring leader.

appearance

Parasoul has long, straight red hair that reaches her back, with bangs covering her right eye, and carrot-orange eyes. She also has a slender figure. She wears a long-sleeved black shirt, a matching skirt with light violet underwear underneath, and flat black shoes. The gun Parasoul uses is a Luger P08, a German 9mm semi-automatic pistol used during both World Wars, and a replacement for the earlier Mauser C96. In previous incarnations, there was an affinity with the Black Tree, from the concept to possibly discarded traditions of the ladies. Its power will manifest through its right eye, the side hidden by the bangs.

history

Few know the terrors of the Skullgirl as intimately as Parasoul. Seven years ago, her mother became the Skullgirl who nearly destroyed the world. This tragic past has made Parasoul fiercely protective of her country and her family, and these two priorities often clash. Parasoul is now the crown princess of the Canopy Kingdom and leader of its elite military squad, the Black Egrets. Wielding the Living Weapon, Krieg, she fights with grace, balance, and cunning to defend her family and destroy the Skull Heart so that no one can repeat her mother's terrible mistake. Final After defeating the Skullgirl, to save Umbrella who got too close to the Skull Heart and would die in its explosion if Parasoul destroyed it, Parasoul wishes that her sister never become the Skullgirl. This causes Parasoul to potentially become the next Skullgirl. In preparation for this eventuality, soldiers are ordered to personally train her sister Umbrella, so that she will be able to combat what Parasoul is destined to become. They were last seen in a fencing lesson.

fighting skills and style

Parasoul is a strategically charged fighter on the battlefield, as her moves have range and can keep her opponents cornered. Her Living Weapon Krieg is capable of shedding Napalm tears that can be placed around the stage when Parasoul fires her luger or circles around it. She also has the option to detonate one or all of them. She can float in the air with Krieg and any tears that explode while she is still floating propel her upwards. Also, her soldiers are more than willing to help her and defend her from projectiles, drag her opponents away, or even momentarily distract her from her cancel, among other things. She also attacks with kicks.
