Age: 18 years Height: 157 centimeters Hair color: Coral pink Eye color: Sky blue Sayori has coral pink hair that is cut and slightly curled at the ends, with a red bow on the left side of her head. Her eyes are sky blue, and she is of average height and weight. She, like the other members of the Literature Club, wears a school uniform, which consists of a warm grey jacket with a brown-colored sweater with a white collar underneath and a red ribbon, though unlike the others, Sayori's jacket is constantly unbuttoned and her ribbon is tied crookedly. She also wears a dark blue skirt, white knee socks, and white wubaki shoes with sky blue tips. At home, she wears a pink long-sleeved T-shirt and blue shorts.

Personality

Sayori is depicted as an outgoing girl. She is very kind and seems to be very cheerful. Sayori is usually the only person who can resolve an argument. The other members of the club describe her as the only pillar that can maintain a relaxed atmosphere in the club. She does her best to make sure everyone is happy and gets along with each other. Sayori does not like it when people worry about her. She also tends to oversleep and be late for school. She has suffered from depression since childhood. This explains her frequent lateness to school - she simply sees no reason to get out of bed. It also explains why she doesn't clean her room and has a short haircut that is easier to maintain. She is madly dependent on her childhood friend. A bit clumsy. Childish in places.

Sayori likes poems that use either sad or happy words (she describes them as "bittersweet"). Her writing style is also based on describing strong emotions. There is a calendar hanging on the wall in Sayori's bedroom, the bottom right corner of which is torn off, and the month of November has been completely crossed out with a marker. This is the month that Japanese schools usually hold festivals and club activities. Sayori is the Vice President of the Club.
