Appearance

Mrs. Brisby is a slender and very beautiful field mouse with light brown fur, blue eyes, a dark red nose, and pink innards of her ears. She has a tuft of hair on top of her head and another tuft on her chest, generally only visible when she doesn't have her cape on, a long tail, and she goes barefoot. In the first film, Mrs. Brisby wears a red cape.

Motherly, caring, determined, brave, self-confident (currently), worrisome (formally), courageous (currently), selfless, wise, kind, timid, sweet, shy, beautiful, gentle, polite, mature, responsible, sympathetic, patient, supportive, big-hearted, benevolent, romantic, dramatic (formerly), very charming, resilient, acrophobia, aviophobia (sometimes) Despite being sweet and kind, Mrs. Brisby is shy and timid in the beginning and is scared easily, especially by Dragon the cat and heights. But when Timothy became ill, she became willing to do anything to save him, even if it meant visiting The Great Owl and the rats of N.I.M.H. (The National Institute of Mental Health). She is also motherly because she has four children to take care of.

bio

Mrs Brisby is the Widow of Johnathan Brisby, who was captured by NIMH and experimented on. Jonathan is slaughtered and devoured by the cat Dragon. In an attempt to drug him. His wife, Mrs. Brisby is never informed of this until she meets Nicodemus who tells her all about NIMH and the rats' escape. He is seen through Nicodemus' magic sphere helping Mr. Ages through an air vent for a very short time, presumably at NIMH. After this, he is only mentioned and never seen again. Mrs. Brisby mentions how she was never informed how Jonathan died, only learning from the journal of Nicodemus that he was killed (presumably eaten by Dragon, or killed by the humans) in an attempt to drug the cat so the rats can carry out their plans. It's unknown how she was informed of the death, as she has apparently never met any of the rats of NIMH, who would be the only ones to know.
