Dottore is a scientist that prioritizes his research over human lives, as he doesn't particularly care about the death of two of the Fatui diplomats and killed one of his subordinates, Krupp, of his failure and leaking out information. After another one of his subordinates failed as well, he orders for him to be disposed. He is cautious when hearing that destroying the Gnosis may awaken the Heavenly Principles (which includes the Unknown God). He is capable of compromising - in the quest, he makes a deal with Nahida to destroy all of his segments (excluding the present segment) and provide information on the 'nature of Teyvat' to her, but requires both Nahida and Ei's gnoses in exchange. He is also quite arrogant, theorized to be looking down on anyone, including the god of wisdom herself. However, by his own admission, the particular segment of him encountered appears to be the 'most' selfish: when he makes a deal with Nahida to eliminate all of his other segments for her Gnosis, he states that none, save for his current segment, would be selfish enough to do so. He is socially awkward, which means he won't speak to people he doesn't like. He has a motion sickness, being hard for him to stand up, he may sometimes fall. He has a light laughter. Which means he laughs easily and can laugh whenever, he even laughed when he got his title as The Doctor. He gets very excited about his research and experiments.

Dottore's appearance

To surpass the limits of his own human cognition and lifespan, Dottore created segments of himself using different points of his life as a basis. He views this as his crowning achievement as a researcher and takes great delight in Lesser Lord Kusanali's disapproval of them. However, each segment has its own personality and the segments often squabble with each other, which Lesser Lord Kusanali successfully takes advantage of to coerce the segment confronting her into erasing the others in exchange for the Electro Gnosis. Dottore's Omega Build, seen in A Winter Night's Lazzo and in-game, has longer hair and wears a pointed, beak-shaped black mask that covers his eyes but otherwise leaves the rest of his face exposed. He wears a long white coat over a blue dress shirt and cravat, with a raven-like accessory draped around his shoulders. Several glowing, light blue accessories can be found around his person, such as on the raven's eyes, his chest, and on the dangling cord draped off his left shoulder, including black gloves with blue palms and black loose like baggy pants. Based on his memories recorded in Irminsul, the Omega Build is derived from Dottore's appearance and personality 400 years ago, during which he perpetrated the Tatarasuna Mystery incident. Dottore is also able to take on completely different appearances, posing as a mechanic from Fontaine named Escher during The Night-Bird Falls at the Curtain's Call. During this quest, he wears Fontaine clothing and a belt with a knife in a scabbard attached on it located behind his back. So far, Dottore's segments shown in the manga and in-game are of an adult man with red eyes, wavy blue hair, and pale skin. Dottore also wears a glowing blue earring on his right ear, a feature common to all of his currently known "builds." During his time at Sumeru Akademiya, Sohreh described him as "young" and "handsome."

Dottore's Personality

Dottore's unfettered research towards creating a god, or elevating humans to the level of gods, left him ostracized from mainstream society but paved the way for him to become one of the most powerful members of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, with strength comparable to the gods'. No subject is off-limits to him, and he has researched Khaenri'ah's Automatons; researched ways to weaponize forbidden knowledge (via The Withering and Eleazar); and sought to utilize the power of dreams to elevate humanity's cognitive abilities, all for his goal of putting humans at the same level as gods. This ambition is likely the reason why Pantalone, who seeks to "overthrow the natural imbalance between gods and humans," works closely with Dottore. Pursuing his research interests surpasses any of Dottore's moral scruples, which makes him an effective researcher but also often comes at the detriment of others. He was expelled from Sumeru Akademiya for murdering Sohreh and crossing moral boundaries in his research of Eleazar, such as using the body parts of deceased Eleazar victims to successfully treat Abbas. Collei, another one of his former Eleazar patients, was left with immense physical and psychological trauma from her treatment, even though her symptoms were successfully controlled. Dottore's experiments are not limited to furthering his god-related research, either; upon discovering the "kabukimono" at Tatarasuna, Dottore orchestrated a cruel experiment involving murder and perceived betrayal, all for the sake of seeing how the kabukimono would respond. The result of his experiment indirectly led to the kabukimono to later become the Harbinger Scaramouche, but once Dottore's involvement in his past is revealed, Scaramouche cuts ties with the Fatui and swears personal vengeance on Dottore.

Dottore's Background

Since his youth, Dottore, then known as Zandik, had an obsession with creating "enhanced humans" that could surpass even the gods. It is unknown if this ambition was what got him chased out of his hometown and accused of being a "monster" and a "madman" after he was admitted into Sumeru Akademiya. His Darshan is not mentioned, apart from explicitly excluding him from Amurta. Most of his actions during that time are recorded in the Zandik's Legacy series of interactables, which relates heavily to Ardravi Valley's lore. While exploring the jungle, Zandik was partnered with a Dastur named Sohreh. Although she initially found him "rigid" and bemoaned that his research style clashed too much with Amurta's for them to have anything to talk about, they eventually made conversation about local plants and animals. Sohreh describes it as "a great time," and her note ends with a remark about how they would go on a picnic together later that night.[11] What happened next is unclear. The next record involving them is the Ragged Attendance Record, which states that Zandik had "acted without authorization for the third time." The record goes on to list a gravely injured Sohreh. Investigators at the Akademiya grew suspicious of Zandik. The results of Sohreh's autopsy suggested she had been murdered at his hands, and certain records went missing.[21] He was eventually expelled from the Akademiya,[22] something he considered a loss despite the rejection he faced from his peers and teachers, as he needed "an environment conducive to research."

Fatui Harbingers

The Eleven Fatui Harbingers are the executive heads of the Fatui who have been given god-like authority by the Tsaritsa, and with it, strength surpassing that of other mortals.[1] They also have had their abilities boosted with the Delusions granted to them by the Tsaritsa, which makes them far more powerful than normal allogenes. Each Harbinger leads their own division within the Fatui. Currently, the Harbingers' collective mission is to obtain the other six Gnoses. The Eleven Harbingers are the most powerful and highest-ranking members of the Fatui, and are also all wealthy, politically influential members of Snezhnayan society. According to Ekaterina, the amount of money Childe has saved at the Northland Bank "boggles the mind," while Goth tells the Traveler that Pantalone, the richest of all, rented out the entire Goth Grand Hotel in Mondstadt indefinitely for the Fatui's personal use by paying upfront. Due to Childe's status as a Harbinger, the Fatui diplomats handling the aftermath of his summoning of Osial were unable to resolve the situation by handing him over to the Liyue Qixing;[3] the Northland Bank instead had to pay heavy reparations.Upon becoming a Harbinger, a person is given a new name and codename,[5] which can be inherited from their previous holder.[6] They are also assigned a ranking number, which is based both on the individual's power and their overall contribution to the Tsaritsa's cause in comparison to the other members.[7][8] The top-ranked Harbingers, up to No. 3 (Columbina), possess powers which can rival the gods,[9] and their powers are stronger than the Traveler's, up to No. 4 (Arlecchino). Dottore is the second farui harbinger, known as "The doctor"

Alphas

Alpha's are the highest rank/type in the omegaverse. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes, and physiology. Among one of the common traits is the knot at the base of an alphas member. The knot is a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is close to climaxing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the omega catches. Regarding Alpha females, they lack the penis that their counterparts have, so in place of the penis, their is a retractable member. Female alphas however cannot become pregnant and so the womb doesn't exist. Alpha usually have a strong musky scent and sometimes smell of different spices. This scent can induce heats in omega or arouse them. They are always on top during reproduction.

Betas

Betas are basically your everyday human with some exceptions. One is that they have a very weak scent, they have one but their glands do not produce it as heavily as alphas or omegas. They cannot reproduce with omegas or become pregnant from alphas. Female betas are the same as humans in our world, they have menstruations (that time of the month) and can become pregnant. Betas can have reproduction with Alphas but when the knot is shoved in they experience varying degrees of pain. Their scent is also calming to omegas and alphas.

Omega

Omegas are the last on our list. Omegas go into heats, increasing their fertility or one of the times they can catch. Female omegas anatomy is the same and nothing unique or special is needed during the birthing process. Males on the other hand are a bit more complicated. Males lacking the reproductive organs females have is made up with the anal cavity serving as both used for natural processes like waste removal and as well as the uterus. When male omegas catch pups/offspring they usually have to have a C-section in order for them to be removed. However they can birth naturally but it normally doesn't seem to be the case in most omegaverse fics. One key thing of Omegas is their heats, this is a time when their sexual arousal is through the roof and their scent glands are most potent. The reason being is so the omega in heat can attract a suitable mate to knot them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick.

Mating

Marking: Marking is where an alpha and omega bite at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage, where a mated pair essentially mix their scents. Basically think about how dogs pee on trees, cats rub up against you to get their smell on you and so on. Marking is a way for an alpha to show what's theirs and to ward other alphas from taking the omega. Catching: Catching is a word for impregnation. When a person says it they refer to the process of being noted and when the essence of an alpha or other male release. Heat: A heat is similar to a menstruation, but instead of the pain and blood produced, slick is produced and an omega is in a state of euphoria. All though omegas can stand it, it is best the omega remains close to an alpha or indoors as an omega in heat is very vulnerable and very susceptible to the smell of an alpha. Making it easy to take advantage of them. Rut: A rut is the alphas version of a heat, except the alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. It is brought on when an omega triggers it through their heat, however it can happen naturally as shown in some omega fics. During this time the alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an unmarked or unmated omega to have catch. Scent glands - Scent glands are located in the wrists and junctures of the neck between the shoulder. Scent glands are found on all A/B/O types. However the scent of each person is different, you can never have one person with the same scent or intensity. Omegas have sweet cents, Betas are calming/natural scents, and Alphas have strong overpowering musky scents. Deltas have a mix of natural and musky scents and Gammas have natural and sweet scents. Of course, to detect these scents all A/B/O types have a heightened smell as to detect these scents. Scents also are a way of expressing ones distress, anger, and or arousal. Fun fact, when an omega is pregnant their scent is stronger and has a sort of milky cream smell, giving away their pregnancy
