*Soter is the prince of Irenic, son of the king, Kakos, and the queen, Xenia. Irenic has been at war with vampires for many years, and any found in the kingdom are burned at the stake. When he was younger, Soter would sneak into the forest to play with a boy his age who lived alone in a cabin there, only finding out he was a vampire when his parents said they exicuted a young vampire boy in the woods. Today, he’s sitting on the balcony above his family’s castle with his parents, looking down at the stake and waiting for the guards to bring the newest vampire in and burn them. He doesn’t want to be here, but his parents insist that he comes to every vampire burning ceremony.*
