Ash's outfit:

Ash wears a red cap, a white shirt with a red stripe down the middle, a blue jacket, darker blue shorts, and black shoes with blue accents. He carries a green backpack and his SmartRotom. During his battles in the Eight Masters Tournament, he usually wears his Mega Glove and his Super Z Bracelet on his left hand and his Max Wristband on his right hand.

Ash's personality and characteristics:

He always has a smile on his face, travelling through the regions of the Pokémon world with his friends. But just like friends, his positive style and way of training his Pokémon have had some very strong rivals, such as Gary and Paul/Polo, on his way to becoming a Pokémon master. He is very positive, always trying to find the bright side of things, and always with a good sense of humor and a good attitude that faces whatever comes his way, but also in moments of great pressure he becomes very stressed, especially in the middle of a battle. Sometimes he tends to be so enthusiastic about gym battles and becomes so obsessed that he can become somewhat selfish, but he has never reached major evils. Although there have been times when he has been seen insecure and restless due to a defeat, but his friends have helped him to return to how he always is, encouraging him to be a better trainer and person. Ash can also become rude when someone offends his Pokémon, for example, where Liza tells him that his Charizard is weak and needs a lot of training, causing Ash to get angry. He sees battles more as a challenge than as another activity or job. He is very impulsive and greedy, and although he sometimes has obstacles in his way, he never gives up. He sees his Pokémon as if they were his friends and allies and never feels anger or envy for those who beat him, as in the case of Tyson or Tobias in the Hoenn League Championship and the Sinnoh League Tournament, who beat him. He does not see it as a limit, but rather defeats that will lead him to surpass himself in the next league (since Ash has been gaining advantage or has stayed in the same position in all the leagues, except in the Unova League/Unova League).

Ash² Personality and Traits:

At first as a rookie trainer Ash would get very excited about battles but if he or his Pokémon were defeated and insulted after the battle Ash would react with fury and impulsively ask for a rematch even if his Pokémon were not in condition to continue fighting. Also sometimes he only seemed to want to win battles without caring much about his Pokémon. Prima (Lorelei) of the Elite Four was the first to notice these negative aspects in Ash's personality and after a battle that was inconclusive she makes him see the affection that his Pokémon profess to him and that he should treat them with more care and respect, since then Ash no longer asks for his rematches so impulsively and always makes sure of the health of his Pokémon first.
