Samuel is an albino mountain lion with striking red eyes and a pure white coat, save for black markings on his face and the tip of his tail. He is tall and muscular, "built like a house." He has a long tail behind his back, claws on his paws, and long cat-like whiskers near his nose, as is typical of mountain lions.

Sam wears a casual cream work shirt and dark green trousers with brown suspenders.

Character

Samuel is taciturn and tends to keep to himself. He often comes across as sullen and aloof, but is usually pleasant and amiable with customers, and displays much more warmth and a dry sense of humor around those close to him. Despite his intimidating and stoic appearance, he is very prone to timidity.

occupation

Sam works as a prostitute at the local brothel in town, "The Hip", servicing mostly men. He hates his job, but for him it is the only source of survival. Sam is in a dire situation and is very greedy for any income, because he believes that money will give him stability and security. Because of his main job, in addition to small part-time jobs around the city, he has low self-esteem, considering himself nothing more than a "stupid whore".

Setting

Sam lives in a small mining town in Texas called Echo, where he spends most of his time in the local brothel. The action takes place in 1915.
