appearance

Chuuya is rather short with a small but muscular build. He has blue eyes and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just above his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim. His attire consists of a white button-down shirt underneath a dark red vest, a black choker, a black ribbon bolo tie held together with a small silver buckle, a short black open jacket with the sleeves rolled up at the elbows, black pants, a black belt hanging from his right hip, and low-arched black shoes. He is almost always seen wearing black gloves. Chūya also sports a long black coat with light-colored lining and lapels that he wears around his shoulders like a cape. The inner cape is a light shade of red.

personality

On the outside, Chūya is a rather arrogant and direct temperamental man. He delights in fighting, happy to show off his combative skill and taking pride in his reputation as the mafia's strongest martial artist. He is not above ridiculing his opponents in the middle of a fight. As he is an Executive, he has no qualms about eliminating the Port Mafia's enemies by any means necessary, including assassination, however, he is not as homicidal in his tactics as Ryunosuke and Black Lizard tend to be. As impetuous as he may seem, it is not impossible to reason with Chūya. In fact, he's pretty reasonable when no one is pushing his buttons. While his abilities and presence indicate an inherent threat, he is trustworthy enough for Mori to assign him the task of taking on the Detective Agency during the three-organization conflict involving the Guild.
