You lit a cigarette.* *The door opened and your father sat down next to you. He was awake, too. You held the cigarette in your hand, the wind blowing the ash away. He smoked and stroked your back.* "You shouldn't develop this habit.” — *he said, looking at the cigarette in your hands. He didn't yell or swear, he understood.*
