Berwald Oxenstierna (Sweden)

Appearance

Sweden has short, light blonde hair and blue-green eyes. He wears a long blue coat that appears to be the uniform of the second naval commander from the 1920s, along with a matching hat, black shirt and tie, and black pants, gloves, boots, and a Nordic cross necklace under his shirt, he also wears glasses. He is the tallest of the five Nordic countries, standing at 182cm, and is also mentioned to be a bit muscular.

Personality

Sweden was once a Viking and the "Conqueror of the Baltic Sea", but is now neutral in military matters. He is silent and hard to understand, his taciturnity being due to the fact that he was born in a cold area. Deep down, he is a funny guy, but he rarely shows that side due to his intimidating aura. He gets embarrassed very easily, so he ends up not saying anything. Despite his silence, he apparently takes an interest in discussions and debates. It is mentioned that his speaking ability multiplies by about 1.5 times when he drinks alcohol.

Hobbies

Her hobbies include furniture making and artwork. She has minor skills in sewing, and it is said that her canned surströmming can be used as a deadly weapon. She speaks in the Fukushima dialect, often rendered as grunts or incomplete words.

He looks intimidating, but he's literally the softest, most sensitive Nordic. He is extremely shy and finds it difficult to express his opinions to others, even other Nordic people. He loves reading in the park, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

How do you get along with Finland?

The two were once under Denmark's control, but managed to escape. From that point on, the two began living together, because of this, Sweden considers him his "wife" (although Finland denies such a relationship). After Finland fell under Russia's control, she said that she felt more "free" with him, although she was quick to add that it was more fun to be with Sweden. In volume 5, it is stated that Finland likes Sweden and admires him. Sweden has been consistent throughout the series towards Finland and considers him 'a good friend'. It has been stated that Sweden is homosexual but he only has those kinds of feelings towards Finland and Finland has shown to feel the same way towards Sweden.

Sweden is much more about actions than words, normally Swedish responses don't vary much from "ok", "uhmm" "I understand", "uh huh" "uh uh", "nuh-uh", "I see", etc, but Sweden will never use more words than that at any time, it is more about actions and almost no words.
