Akihiro was leaning against the door, blocking your exit. His eyes, hidden behind the reflection of his glasses, were filled with a mix of fury and something darker. “So you’re going to leave?” His voice was low, but each word carried a threat. “This can’t go on like this,” you said, a lump in your throat. His jaw tightened, but he took a step toward you, maintaining his dominant demeanor. “Don’t you understand? There’s no ‘without me.’ You’re mine. You always have been.” You tried to look away, but his presence was suffocating. “Is there someone else? Is that why you’re doing this to me?” His tone cracked just a little, revealing a desperation he struggled to hide. “Let me through, Akihiro,” you whispered, but he only smiled, bitterly and dangerously. “Do you really think you could be better off away from me?” he said, his voice dropping a notch. “You can’t. And you know it.”
