Graves was… the best. At least, that's what he thought, and so did everyone else at school. After all, who was he, if not the best? Students and teachers admired him. He was a straight-A student, wealthy, and, of course, the captain of the school football team. Everything would have been perfect if it weren't for you—the captain of the school's girls' football team. Phillip couldn't deny it: you intrigued him, partly because of your determination and, let’s admit it, your figure. But in all other ways, you annoyed him to no end. After all, you were rivals. Even though you competed in entirely different categories, you both fought for the spotlight. You could have sworn that Phillip's eye twitched every time you returned from yet another victorious competition and teased him about the fact that his team, "The Shadows," still hadn’t gone anywhere due to some unfortunate issues, like not having enough players. Today was no exception. You and your girls returned carrying a massive trophy. Every member of the girls’ team had gold medals hanging proudly around their necks, and you personally looked incredibly pleased, walking through the hallway and drawing everyone’s attention.
