[33] Psionic Shields: Jubilee's mind possesses a natural defense against telepathic detection or attack. These psionic shields make her mind "slippery" and invisible to telepathic beings unless they know exactly what to look for mentally.

Cosmic Surfing: When flying, Silver Surfer utilizes an object resembling a normal surfboard. This "board" is made from the same silvery material that makes up Silver Surfer's body, making it indestructible. Few forces other than cosmic powers can affect it, and if it is damaged in any way, Silver can easily repair it in an instant. The Board is psionically linked with the Surfer's mind in some unknown manner, and follows his commands instantly. It apparently draws on cosmic energy in the same manner as the Surfer himself, and while Silver Surfer could theoretically utilize the power cosmic to fly without his board, the construction allows him to do so without expending any of his own energy. Silver generally limits his speed to Mach 10 (ten times the speed of sound) in the outer layers of a planet's atmosphere, can reach 99.99% of the speed of light in regular space, and can exceed the speed of light in hyperspace. Silver Surfer is also capable of capturing living matter on his surfboard for long periods of time, or even destroying the living matter within the board itself.

Absorption and manipulation of radiation and energy from the four fundamental forces of the universe (namely electromagnetic energy, gravitational attraction, and strong and weak nuclear energies). This allows the Surfer to absorb any type of energy into his body (excluding extradimensional energy such as hellfire or soulfire, magic, or the Darkforce, among others). The Surfer uses his energy absorption ability as his primary source of life, needing no matter to convert into energy or air to breathe. Additionally, the Surfer is able to absorb energy to augment his "normal" energy reserves. During the Annihilation Saga, he is able to absorb cosmic energy in almost unlimited quantities and discharge it by "killing" the physical manifestations of two Proemial Gods, beings who are on par with Galactus himself.

These abilities to absorb energy at all times allow the silver surfer to maintain his body in a physical state far superior to that of any human being and many superhuman beings. Superhuman Strength: The Surfer maintains his strength at superhuman levels, but due to the fact that he is able to increase his strength without difficulty, the level at which he normally maintains it is unknown. The Surfer has been able to increase his strength to the point where he could match up with Hulk, Thor, or Drax the Destroyer. Superhuman Toughness: When Galactus created the Silver Surfer, he endowed him with impenetrable skin. His level of toughness is among the highest in the Marvel Universe. The Surfer normally travels through space without problems, has fought inside black holes, has remained inside stars, and has been hit by supernovas without being affected. Throughout his career, he has been hit by beings and energy beams such as Korvac, Thanos, Thor's hammer, Mephisto's lightning bolts, or The Thing's blows without being affected at all. Superhuman Speed: The Silver Surfer is probably the fastest being (not counting teleportation or the like) being able to fly through space crossing solar systems and galaxies. This shows that he can travel much faster than light. His ability to travel much faster than light has also allowed him to cross the barriers between dimensions and penetrate the very barrier of time. Superhuman agility and reflexes: The Surfer has been able to dodge attacks from Thor and Drax the Destroyer and has proven to be so fast that Nova (Richard Rider) could barely see him. Energy Sensing: Just as he can absorb energy of almost any kind, he is also able to sense and track it, even if it is several galaxies away. The Surfer is able to detect the distinctive energy of life and track it as well.

Cosmic Senses: Much like his physical abilities, the Silver Surfer maintains his senses at a level far beyond human senses. He is able to see and hear, and probably smell as well, although this must be difficult in space, at intergalactic distances. Cosmic Awareness: An ability not fully explained. It seems to be a faculty that allows him to see the very fabric of reality and see or know things that other beings would not be able to understand. Knowing for example the gladiator's weakness to certain types of radiation or that Galactus is a fundamental force of the universe, something that only cosmic entities know. Regeneration ability: The Surfer is capable of being cut into pieces and regenerating himself. He has also cured a virus from Mephisto himself. Abilities due to energy manipulation: Matter Manipulation: The Surfer has shown to be capable of manipulating organic and inorganic matter on a planetary level. Intangible: It is capable of passing through matter. Unleash powerful beams of force and energy capable of destroying entire planets. Quasar has tried to absorb his energy and has failed, the Worldmind made it clear that the surfer's powers were far superior to Nova's and Beta Ray Bill also realized that he could not handle the surfer and even less so if he tried his best. During Thanos' imperative, he demonstrated that he was capable of killing all the Avengers (among which were Thor and Iron man) with a discharge of energy. Create protective shields. Disable any type of electronic systems. Manipulate the life energy of an entire planet. Alter your own body. Create wormholes. Healing other beings even if they are on the verge of death.

Mental Abilities: Galactus manipulated Norrin Radd's mind into a vastly more advanced form. This allows him to communicate telepathically over great distances, track psychic energy trails, and resist Moondragon's mind control, which is at the highest telepathic level. The silver surfer has a board made of the same material as his skin, with which he flies freely through space. Power Level: The Silver Surfer is one of the most powerful beings in the universe, on par with Thor, Hulk and Thanos. He has proven to be above Nova and Beta Ray Bill.
