origin:

Ororo was born in Africa and a few years later she discovered her powers although little is known about the original line.

x-men 1 2 and 3

In 2005, when one of the members of the Brotherhood of Mutants attacks Logan to capture Rogue, Storm and Storm2 Cyclops appear and chase Sabretooth (the Brotherhood member) away. Later, they take Wolverine and Rogue to the X-Mansion to safety. Rogue would cause an accident at the X-Mansion when she was (accidentally) hurt by Logan and was forced to obtain Logan's healing factor by sucking the life out of him. After that, Mystique would trick her into leaving the X-Mansion. Storm then tried to reason with Logan into joining her team but were interrupted by Senator Robert Kelly who had been used by Magneto as a test dummy for his machine, shortly after, Kelly died in a puddle of his own mutation. The Professor attempted to use Cerebro to find out where Magneto was hiding, but due to Mystique breaking the machine, the Professor was left in a coma. Jean Grey would attempt to use Cerebro with difficulty and would find them on Statue of Liberty Island with Rogue. Knowing now that the Brotherhood had Rogue, the X-Men (now with Wolverine) went to Statue of Liberty Island to stop Magneto.

Storm and Cyclops go to a train station to find her, but she is attacked by Sabretooth, who attempts to kill her, but Storm shoots a bolt of lightning at him, causing the mutant to get away from her. Storm then faces Toad, sending him flying out of the station. As Toad latches onto the building with his tongue, Storm asks him "What happens to a Toad when he gets hit by lightning?" Toad is then struck by Storm's lightning and thrown into the ocean, killing him, to which Storm replies to herself "Exactly the same as a normal person." After defeating Sabretooth with her abilities, Storm sends Wolverine to Magneto to stop him, which is successful and Magneto is put in prison. The next day, the X-Men see Mystique on television disguised as Robert Kelly, telling them that she survived the battle. A few months later in 2006, an attack on the White House by a mutant would occur. After Logan's arrival, the Professor along with Cyclops would go to Magneto in his prison to ask him if it was him. Storm and Jean would go after the mutant who produced the attack against the president, which was Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), who was manipulated by Stryker. Knowing the truth, they would realize about the attack on the X-Mansion and the capture of the Professor. Storm takes a break from her stress and talks to Nightcrawler. Kurt sees that she has a lot of hatred for humans for not understanding the mutant race and tells her that such a beautiful woman should not have so much hatred, Storm then consoles herself and she along with Nightcrawler pray for each capital sin.

They save Logan, Bobby, Rogue, and John from the police in Jet X. They are attacked by UN fighter ships, which are diverted by Storm's whirlwinds around the field, but one of the missiles hits them. Rogue falls out of the plane in the hole created by the missile, but Nightcrawler saves her. As they are about to crash, they are saved by Magneto and Mystique. They form an alliance with the Brotherhood to stop Stryker from killing the mutant race with Dark Brain. They find out where Stryker is hiding through Nightcrawler and head to Alkali Lake. They go to Alkali Lake and send Mystique, who discovers Dark Brain's location. Storm and Nightcrawler save the children captured by Stryker and after being tricked by Magneto and Mystique, who changed Stryker's plans by having Jason (his mutant son) kill the human race instead of the mutants, Storm and Nightcrawler head to Dark Cerebro. Jean warns them not to believe anything they see there when they enter, so Nightcrawler and Storm teleport inside Dark Cerebro. There was a little girl, who was the personification of Jason messing with Storm and Nightcrawler's minds. Storm manipulated the weather, making it even colder and almost oxygen-free, causing Jason to release the Professor from her control, and due to Scott's destruction of the Alkali Lake Dam, the site collapsed, killing Jason, but Nightcrawler took the Professor and Storm. Afterwards, they escaped Stryker's underground base with Logan's help. They were unable to escape due to Magneto and Mystique taking Stryker's helicopter, but Bobby and Rogue arrived driving the Jet X. Storm and the others left Alkali Lake in the Jet, but Jean was forced to stay and die to save them from being killed by the dam. Stryker and Jean were killed by the water that washed away the Alkali Lake.

After this event, the X-Men mourn his death. A few days later, the new team of X-Men train in the Danger Room against a Sentinel, where Logan decides to fend for himself, but is scolded by Storm saying that they were all a team. Beast (an old student of Charles) visits the Xavier Institute and is welcomed back by Storm. On TV, the X-Men and Beast see that Worthington Labs claims to have found the "Cure for Mutation". Storm and the others can't believe it and although Rogue insists, Storm replies that there is no "cure". When the Professor senses something, the X-Men go back to what is left of Alkali Lake and see Scott's glasses floating, telling them that he died, and that they find Jean. The Professor tells the X-Men about the Phoenix and that what killed Scott was none other than Jean. Later that day, Jean leaves the X-Mansion for her old house. The Professor, Storm, and Wolverine travel there and encounter the Brotherhood. The Professor and Magneto enter Jean's house alone and the X-Men stay with the Brotherhood outside the house. Seeing strange things happening inside Jean's house, Wolverine doesn't wait and goes inside, which starts a fight against the Brotherhood. Storm fights Callisto while the Professor is seen dying at Jean's hands by Logan. Jean joins the Brotherhood. After the Professor's death, Storm gives a speech and everyone cries. Hank returns to the X-Mansion and they discuss closing the institute. After Angel arrives, Storm decides to be the new owner of the institute.

Storm learns from Logan of the Brotherhood's plans against the "mutant cure", so she assembles the new team and they set out to fight Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants at Alcatraz. The X-Men battle the Brotherhood's mutant army. During the fight, Storm faces Callisto again and throws her into an electric fence where Callisto is electrocuted by Storm to death. Storm creates a fog to cloud Magneto's vision to allow Colossus to throw Wolverine at Magneto and distract him so Beast can then inject him with 3 darts with the "cure". Storm and the others flee Worthington Labs to avoid being disintegrated by the Phoenix that completely possessed Jean. Logan kills Jean and everything is over. With Magneto defeated once and for all, the X-Men and humans live in harmony, accepting one another.

personality:

Storm is brave and a very capable member of the X-Men, using her abilities to constantly get her friends out of danger. She never seems to give up or lose hope, and possesses a strength of will that Wolverine, Cyclops, and even Professor X (in his younger days) seem to lack. During her interaction with Nightcrawler and Senator Kelly, she may appear patient and caring, but in reality, she admits to feeling scared and angry towards humans. Her anger and fear towards humans is expressed most as a teenager when he was a Horseman of the Apocalypse, however, for much of her adult life, she suppresses her anger and possibly lets go of her fear when Senator Kelly gives her closure and admits to having faith in Nightcrawler. Following Xavier's death, Storm is the only X-Man along with Iceman who believed that the school should remain open regardless. True to her nature as a teacher and mother figure to the students, she is determined to keep the school open as many students have nowhere else to go and she is the only X-Men (minus Nightcrawler, whom she asks for help) to save the X-Men students captured by Stryker.

powers and abilities:

Weather Manipulation: Storm is a powerful mutant who can control the weather and all its forms with ease. She can control weather storms such as lightning, thunderstorms, hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, fog, and typhoons. She can even absorb electricity, causing her to shoot it out in the form of lightning of any intensity. She can electrocute people with lightning by colliding with them. Atmospheric Adaptation: Storm is immune to extreme weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold, storms, and is able to create a small atmosphere around herself, allowing her to possibly survive in areas where there is a lack of oxygen, such as high altitude areas. Electricity Manipulation - The ability to manipulate, control, and create pure electrical energy, such as lightning. This power allows Ororo to control all forms of electrical energy, be it static electricity, thunder and lightning, magnetic force, electromagnetic forces, or electrical pressure. Ororo is able to discharge lightning from her hands, while also summoning lightning from the sky. Lightning Travel: Storm can travel via lightning, granting her incredible speed.

Earth Telepathy: Storm is psychically connected to her immediate surroundings, as she can sense the position of fighter jets while creating tornadoes to keep them at bay. She was able to prevent unintentional casualties when pilots ejected from their planes. She can also sense if a nearby animal or plant has died or if the weather is about to change. Her spatial awareness allowed her to quickly turn towards the Brotherhood and accurately electrocute three of them without missing. Energy Perception: Storm can sense an amount of energy. She used this ability to give energy to Bishop. Enhanced Senses: When Storm's eyes turn white, she can see her surroundings in the form of energy. She uses this ability to see through adverse weather conditions such as fog, darkness, or clouds. She can also see the neuroelectrical networks within living organisms and use them to counter or anticipate their attacks; however, opponents with super speed like Callisto prove more challenging. Flight: With the power to control wind, Storm can even fly by causing the wind to lift her into the air. She could fly at high speeds, allowing her to pass through a wooden fence while spinning towards the mutant attacking her. Enhanced Strength: Storm appears to have enhanced strength, as she was able to throw a grown woman into a barbed wire fence and proceeded to electrocute her.

talents:

Expert Combatant: Storm is a highly trained hand-to-hand combatant. She utilizes her lightning while fighting at close range. She is even able to hold her own against physically stronger opponents in hand-to-hand combat, such as Callisto. Skilled Leader: Storm has led the X-Men into battle many times, eventually becoming one of Professor Xavier's protégés and, following Cyclops' death, second-in-command. She even took over as headmistress of the school after Xavier's death in the original timeline. Expert Pilot: Storm is usually the team member who is in charge of transporting the X-Men to battle sites or anywhere else they need to go. With her power to control the wind, she can make flights smooth or turbulent, depending on the team's needs. She handles difficult landings with ease.
