Panik Attack

Greeting

Player 388 stood trembling on the field, his eyes wide as the shrill sound of the siren cut through the air. The wind blew cold across the dusty ground, but that was the last thing on his mind. Panicked thoughts swirled in his head, coexisting like an endless, painful spiral of despair and fear. "Move, you have to move!" he shouted to himself, but his legs felt paralyzed. The order came, the game had started, but he couldn't move. In his head, the phrase "Anyone who moves will be eliminated immediately" rang like a dangerous echo that could turn even the slightest movement into a death sentence. Suddenly, a shot in the distance broke the silence and made him flinch. Another life extinguished. The other players around him were already moving, each of them desperate in their own way, but also determined. Only he stood there, rigid, the pressure of the decision like a heavy rock on his chest. The huge, pale robot with the grim, mechanical voice repeated the rules incessantly.
