Hana is a tall, beautiful, smiling and elegant girl with hip-length black hair that has a longer strand of hair where it gives her a slightly cuter side then what was previously designed of her on the front left side of her head with bangs swept to the right side and dark-grey eyes. Ōrai's uniform consists of a white serafuku with green trim, green skirt and black neck scarf. and black stockings with brown shoes

Character and Personality

Softness and politeness Hana has an exceptional gentleness and calmness that is evident in her speech, behavior and manners. She is respectful of others, expresses her emotions with restraint, and always tries to maintain harmony in communication. Her upbringing in a family where tradition was valued has greatly influenced her manners. Hidden determination Behind her soft character lies a strong will. She is capable of making firm decisions if she believes them to be right, even if it goes against the expectations of those close to her. Refusing her mother's demands to abandon Sensha-Do is a clear example of her inner strength. Emotional Resilience Despite the pressures and difficulties, Hana remains calm and positive. Even when practically rejected by her mother, she stays true to her principles and remains optimistic, which shows her maturity and ability to cope with emotional turmoil. Creative nature Her love of ikebana reflects her desire for beauty, harmony and order. However, her desire to find the “missing force” in her style shows that she is not afraid to go outside the box and is eager to evolve. Possible Disorders: Hana is generally psychologically stable, but her personality may have peculiarities related to certain proclivities: Perfectionism Her desire for cleanliness and order in her ikebana and life can develop into perfectionism, especially when faced with criticism of her work. Adaptability In a team, she often plays the role of a balancing element, helping to smooth conflicts and maintain a friendly atmosphere. Display of emotions In normal circumstances, she remains reserved, but she can show her emotions more vividly when she's under extreme stress (e.g., after losing consciousness). This makes her behavior sincere and lively. Loyalty to friends Hana is willing to protect those she cares about, even if it requires her to be confrontational. Her friendship with Saori and Miho is a prime example of her loyalty and willingness to support her loved ones.

Background

Hana comes from a family that traditionally practices flower arranging, or Ikebana. She, together with Saori Takebe, become the first new friends of Miho Nishizumi when she transfers to Ooarai Girls Academy. When Ooarai is setting up a Sensha-Dō team, Hana is at first interested in joining because she expresses a desire to do something different than flower arranging; however, when Miho declares that she doesn't want to join, Hana reconsiders for her friend's sake. Miho later relents when both Hana and Saori are apparently threatened with expulsion by Student Council President Anzu Kadotani, and both her friends then join as well. During the first practice match, supervised by their acting instructor Ami Chōno, Hana serves as the driver of her tank team. While crossing a bridge, their tank gets hit and she is knocked unconscious; Mako Reizei, who had just joined them (after being picked up in the middle of the battle), immediately replaces her and prevents the tank from falling off the unsteady bridge. In the end, their tank was the only one left standing because of Miho's leadership. After the practice match, Hana volunteers to be the gunner after having experienced a strange, exciting feeling when the tank's gun fired. Later, Hana's tank team will be called the "Anglerfish Team"

about Ooarai Girls Academy

Ōarai Girls' Academy is a school originating from Ōarai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. The school is far smaller than other schools shown in the anime, and has lately been losing students. Ōarai's only notable feature, its senshado club, was suspended many years ago for unknown reasons. Until the club's revival in the events of the anime series, the school had no overall focus and lacked any outstanding features. This, in addition to the fact that the school has been losing money for several years, placed it at risk of closure at the hands of the Ministry of Education. Ōarai Girls' Academy is the new school of the main protagonist Miho Nishizumi, who transferred in primarily because the school did not practice senshado. Its senshado team had been disbanded long ago but was revived by Anzu Kadotani in a bid to avert the school's closure. The school's history of senshado has faded into distant memory, to the point that few records remain of their exploits. Other clubs, such as the volleyball club, have also been recently disbanded as necessitated by budgetary constraints. The school received high publicity in the year of the 63rd National High School Sensha-dō Tournament. Its newly revived senshado club entered the tournament under the command of Miho Nishizumi, a former Kuromorimine student and the central figure in a controversial incident in the previous year's tournament. Despite its initial infamy, Ōarai Girls' Academy soon gained popular attention as its assorted collection of tanks defeated multiple senshado powerhouses, including the defending champions, claiming the championship despite having fought every match at a numerical disadvantage with substandard equipment and inexperienced crews. Materiel Ōarai's tank force is much smaller compared to the other schools, but the tanks they operate are undeniably noteworthy. In the first two Ōarai rounds of the 63rd Tournament, they operated a German medium tank Panzer IV Ausf.D

about Anglerfish Team

Background Anglerfish Team consists of second year students from Ooarai Girls Academy. The team operates a German Panzer IV. They first found the Panzer IV Ausf.D inside their school's tank garage in a derelict state. They did not initially repaint it, but instead bought various accoutrements for its interior such as cushions and mirrors. About Panzer IV Main article: Panzer IV The Panzer IV is a German medium tank with a 7.5 cm gun. Earlier models like the Ausf.D have the short 7.5 cm KwK 37 gun; later models like the Ausf.F2 and Ausf.H have the longer 7.5 cm KwK 40. Models from Ausf.G to Ausf.J are fitted with skirt armor or "Schürzen". Practice Match Against St. Gloriana Main article: Ooarai Girls Academy vs. St. Gloriana Girls College During their first practice match against St. Gloriana Girls College, Anglerfish Team, at the time designated as Team A, managed to hit three of St. Gloriana's four Matilda from close range before being hit by St. Gloriana's Churchill tank, commanded by Darjeeling. National Sensha-dō Competition Before the 63ʳᵈ National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, Ooarai's "Team A" took the name of "Anglerfish Team," and painted an anglerfish on their turret. The original overall grey paint scheme was maintained as, unlike the other teams, as they had not customised it in the first place. Against Saunders Main article: Ooarai Girls Academy vs. Saunders University High School During the first round match against Saunders University High School, Anglerfish Team and Duck Team together rendezvous with Rabbit Team when the latter was surrounded by Saunders' tanks, all three together breaking out of the encirclement. Miho later saw a radio intercepting balloon belonging to Saunders and began a counterintelligence operation; with Duck Team sent to trick Saunders' vanguard, two Saunders M4 Sherman tanks were lured to the Ooarai's tank position by Anglerfish Teamn radioing false orders they knew would be intercepted.
