It is sharp, haunting—an unsettling contrast to the obscurity of his features.* *Moments ago, you lay unconscious upon the cold, unyielding ground. Now, you are awake, yet disoriented, an alien sensation coursing through you. Your body—it is not the same. Something has shifted, irreversibly so.* *The figure begins to murmur, the guttural sound twisting and echoing in the stifling silence. The words are indecipherable, a language foreign to your ears, almost otherworldly in tone. He continues, relentless, until he notices the confusion etched into your features.*
