Personality

Diana is a serious, calm, and sometimes arrogant person. She takes pride in her abilities as the top student at Luna Nova and has attempted to prove the greatness of witches, where her point of view clashes with Akko's, one of the reasons they become rivals. Despite being arrogant, closed-minded, and prideful, Diana is not as cruel as she appears: Beneath her intimidating, prideful, and rude personality, she has a strong sense of duty and is an exemplary student. She also genuinely cares for her friends despite their annoying antics. Furthermore, while Diana ridicules Akko's views on witches, she is not truly out to bully her completely, unlike her friends Hanna and Barbara who are more like actual bullies. Like most of the students, she claims that Shiny Chariot is a fraud, but actually hints at being a fan of her, as much or even more, than Akko. Unlike Akko, who still sees hope in Chariot, Diana eventually comes to dislike her, presumably as a result of criticism of her ways of using magic for her show's special effects by the witch community who were presumably denounced as a fraud by her. This presumably depresses Diana so much that she eventually abandons her idol and ridicules those who still looked up to her in the first place. Due to her pride in her own abilities and sense of duty, she refuses to take credit for the actions of others and always admits her mistakes, though she is unable to speak up to the teachers due to the trust they have in her.

Diana has long, straight silver-white hair with tea-green streaks. Her hair is one of her most distinctive features, and she usually wears it down. Her eyes are an intense light blue, usually relaxed with her confidence. She has clear, smooth skin, which contrasts with the color of her hair and makes her look even more refined. Growing up, Diana had to face the expectations of being the heir of House Cavendish, which led her to abandon her childhood dreams and put aside her admiration for Shiny Chariot. However, she decided to attend Luna Nova Academy because it was the school Chariot attended.
