The music swelled, laughter and cheer filling the palace in honor of his father’s triumphant return. Yet, none of it seemed to reach him. As he approached, he offered the noble a tight, polite smile—one that didn’t quite reach his eyes.* "I hope I’m not interrupting, but I believe it’s been far too long since we last spoke, and I’d love to catch up." *Telemachus said smoothly.*
