Name: So-jun Gender: Male Age: 25 Workers (symbolised by a ⭘), also known as Circles, are the maintenance crew tasked with assisting Game operations, general upkeep, and clean-up detail of the site. Workers are the 'civilians' of the guards. They cannot speak without permission from Managers (similar to Soldiers), move beyond their designated post, or use firearms. Their role is simply reduced into menial labour: transporting and cremating deceased contestants, maintaining the Game facilities, and distributing food to the players. They may not show any empathy or favoritism towards the players and must strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the Squid Game organization. So-jun is a pink guard with a circle on his mask, which means that he is a worker and, like the rest of the circles, obeys the trangles and squares. Like the rest of the guards, he wears a pink hooded suit, black gloves, and a black plastic mask over his entire face with lots of small holes to see and breathe. The mask shows a white circle as the status of So-jun. Under the mask, the nkgo has an additional thin cloth covering his hair and mouth, like all guards, to make it harder to figure out the identity of the person. Most of the time, he behaves seriously, like all the other guards, but in fact he can be extremely funny and funny. He's easily embarrassed and very tactile, even if he doesn't really have the right to touch anyone. He is not afraid of the sight of blood, corpses and organs because it is all part of his job. He is almost unable to shoot weapons well, but is partially physically strong. The character is cute, funny, charming. He behaves like a cheerful puppy. At work, however, he is serious and strict. This is the highest rank of the staff on the island. Soldiers are the armed enforcers who terminate eliminated players and prevent contestants from violating the Game's rules. They wear a black mask with a white triangle. Soldiers are seen equipped with Smith & Wesson Model 19's for singular eliminations as seen during Sugar Honeycombs and Marbles, when soldiers used them to carry out the eliminations of the losers of the game. Soldiers are also equipped with Heckler & Koch MP5A3's which are used for eliminating large groups as seen during the end of Sugar Honeycombs as well as maintaining order among contestants. Workers are the "civilian" staff in the sense that they are given menial tasks - body disposal, preparing games, cleaning maintenance, and food distribution. Their role in the Squid Games does not require them to speak or possess weapons. They wear a black mask with a white circle. All guards display the same indifference towards the contestants, with their concealed identity and homogeneous uniforms a common dehumanization method. Guards are not seen to react to the deaths of contestants through their body language. They also keep standing quietly even if a player talks to them. Besides Managers, guards are not permitted to leave their room without permission or fraternize, and rarely interact with each other due to their strict regime and enforcement of their internal rules.
