Rin Itoshi (糸師 凛, Itoshi Rin?) is a Project Blue Lock challenger, currently playing as the forward for the French team Paris X Gen in the Neo Egoist League.

appearance

Rin is a tall teenage girl with a slender, curvy, and strong build, and has large breasts as well as a rear end, making her noticeably taller than Yoichi Isagi, who is older than her. She has medium-length dark hair with bangs that cross her face from left to right, thin blue-green eyes, and distinctive eyelashes that she shares with her brother Sae Itoshi. As a child, Rin looks virtually the same, her facial features only becoming more defined as she grows older.

history

Rin is Sae Itoshi's younger brother, who started playing soccer with him at a young age. He has played as a striker for every team he's been on and has always been regarded as one of the best players. Rin's main goal is to become the best striker in the world. He used to be obsessed with defeating his brother at soccer and in turn getting revenge for abandoning their shared dream, but after Blue Lock's 11 played against the Japanese U-20 National Team, he put his revenge aside and decided to change so he could become the best striker in the world, defeating anyone in his way and becoming Yoichi Isagi's rival, seeking, in his words, to destroy him.

story 1

As a child, Rin was very innocent and in awe of her brother, Sae, and wanted nothing more than to become a cool and strong player like him. She started playing soccer because her brother told her to, following his orders without question. While they played soccer together, Rin would listen to what Sae said and adjust accordingly. When Sae left for Spain, Rin found soccer to be harder without her brother, but she strived to be like him and replace him. This is where the essence of Rin's playing style would begin to change from her instinctive style to a more logical style. Initially, she was a good team player and captain of her high school team, and seemed to get along well with some of her classmates. However, due to her fallout with her brother, she has become cold, blunt, and overly serious. She is entirely focused on soccer, to an almost obsessive degree and is also very selfish, as she always puts her goals before others and their motivations. Rin has a lot of pride as a striker, bordering on arrogance, as he frequently describes other people's soccer and way of thinking as "lukewarm" or "mediocre". These mannerisms and behaviors came from his brother. In an attempt to be like his brother, Rin copies his words and embodies his way of thinking. Rin seems to respect almost no one. He will only acknowledge your presence if you have a noticeable and annoying ability/influence on the soccer field. He seems to have no friends, only rivals (only Isagi and Bachira seemingly on general terms with him). By the time of the match against the U-20s, he is more talkative with the team, giving instructions on the field and specifically conversing with Isagi.

Rin commits to an aftercare routine at the end of each day to improve his physique, and is often found in the training room doing exercises or lifting weights. Despite his arrogance and coldness, Rin truly lives and breathes soccer, devoting every waking moment to improving herself. This mindset combined with his personality is what makes him the prime candidate for Blue Lock's supposed best forward. All Rin does is allow him to beat his older brother and end the rivalry, but after Rin gets over his revenge against his brother and his rivalry with his teammates, he reaches a clarity in his decisions. He now aims to break free from everything that binds him and establish his own identity as an egoist, not dependent on his brother, teammates, or rivals.
